My 82 ke70 currently has 655202k's on the clock on the original engine. That means its driven the equivalent of 16.34 times around the earth. Or to the moon and 3/4's of the way back! I personally think this is a testamant to the 4k-c as it's still running strong. RWC list: RHF indicator lens Front struts need replacing 4 new tyres. Sitting too long, side walls cracked. Front wheel bearing adjustment All 4 brake lines. Rear diff pinion seal Oil leak from rear main Thought it would be way worse. Fixed, legal and on the road by wednesday. If anyone can ease the cost with some cheap tyres (13's). And i need the clutch pedal rubber???? Next weekend, tints. And I would love to lower it but depends on the sale of my other cars. Wanna do it all legal as its matt black and cop bait. I found king springs on ebay but they are only lows. Can I get falcon super lows? And its only the rears that fit? This has always been a grey area for me. Falcons all round or only on the rear? Kinda sucks, realised without the handles screwed into the door I'd just end up pulling the door cards off when I pull the door shut. Or end up snapping the MDF. Had to put an extra screw through the door which ruins the look a bit....If i'd known the handle would of been centered over it. And I ain't remaking them :D *sigh* you live you learn. Interior pretty much nailed. Need to finish sealing the tail lights, then rwc...hopefully.

put spanner on bolt and use ya jack to turn it and use the weight of the car to crack it. If you have shit spanners don't try this. I did this when had no room for a strong arm. Worked sweet.

Topping up your diff oil wont work if the other 90% in there is shit. Pop the diff cover off and drain it all then top it up. Mine was making heaps of noise and when i drained it it came out like treacle. Might be the same with yours, you've just diluted it a bit. Worth a try anyway. But like you've said its getting worse and worse so could be something else... And thats the 2nd time my local car supply place has screwed me. Only reason I went back is that I got a voucher. Does the LSD oil have a totally different viscosity? Oh and about the oil pump... a bit of rubber hose and a plastic bottle works sweet if its air tight, just put a rush hole in the side like a bong to let air back in... :yes: cost $0. But thats cos I had to make do. Worked sweet though.
