http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/index.shtml http://volvovic.org.au/joomla/ my mate had an Ovlov and the gearbox was backwards. 1st was down 2nd up etc.

i think you just pull it out but you might need to push it twist anti-clockwise and pull kinda like a house lightbulb. Checked my e7 manual as I don't have one in my car to check but theres nothing about it.

i like how the list says it "could" do this and it "could" do that. It sounds like a bit of a crock to me. Maybe it does reduce noise and vibration but I wouldn't think it would by much. Might be worth it if you had an F1 car. Are they charging for it?

doesnt seem to scratch too bad but it hasnt had much wear and tear as it isnt my daily yet. But id say like any spray can job it wouldnt take too much of a knock. I'm planing on taking it all out and redo-ing it properly at some stage.

ive already half done it the hard way may as well keep going.

Tool Thats Not A Tool. Whats Your Favourite?

never been an issue with me. Some clothes powder and some gumption and you are away laughing....ive sliced my hands up and its always been sweet. Rinse, gotta rinse. -
So...... I decided to put my door hinge on. Easy job right? Took out the bezels and shit to get the guard off. 4 bolts for the bumper plus those two shit 10mm bolt on the guard? Plus disconnecting the indicators. First problem. Stripped drivers side bolt....not by me, it was just stripped. So had to undo those 4 other bolts, you know the ones, in this awesome area with heaps of room. I know wrong side in pics, I realised the LHS of the bumber could unbolt easy as it wasnt stripped after about ten minutes, what an idiot. yes this is a hallway lamp that I decided to use as a work lamp, yes I burned myself on it. Several times. Finally got bumper off. took a few beers. Then got the wheel off to take off the guard, and snapped my cheap shit socket attachment for 10, 12 & 14 mm. Might spend more than 20 bucks next time. So yeah. Ground to a halt as i didnt wanna use ring spanners. New good socket set tomorrow I think, hey, its my birthday so why not.

Hey I know its not a tool, but after working on your car and you have black hands, wet your hands with water then use clothes washing powder as an abrasive, rinse and repeat. Trust me you'll never go back. Takes a bit to rinse the slippery residue off but by far the best black hand remover ever. -
that sounds pretty sweet bro. Keep the RC upgrades coming. Kudos!

Like The Gold Coast Thread, Anyone From The Sunny Coast?

Yeah mate I think that would be pretty sweet. Plus it could be cool to find out how many actual "members" are around, not just one time sign ups "I'm selling a Mitsubishi rav-4 this is my only post" people. Always been keen to know if there are some dedicated members on the sunny coast who's brains I can pick or ask for help. Not that I'd use the census to randomly PM people for help.... or would I? You could do it like that VIN thread but just locations and vehicle types. Split them into defined major burbs. Or even councils. Might be a bit of work. Maybe start a thread to see if people are keen. Put me down for +1. And i know there must be some members up here, ive seen a blue slant front e7 with rc stickers on it. -
Jeez do some work ha ha ha... I'd prob be on it too if I had the time...

I got this 5 speed (for free) with my ke70 when i purchased it assuming it was a straight bolt in. I have been told... "Just a heads up on the k50. Looks like its out of a ke35 / 55 Shifter is a bit far forward for the ke70." "Should be easy to find someone who will swap as your tailhousing is rarer." Is it the wrong tail housing? Is it rarer? Is it just worth a straight swap for a ke70 5 speed? Any help appreciated guys I'm a bit of a n00b to mechanicals. And no offence to the guy who told me this, I just want some confirmation. If its worth swapping for another decent box I just want to know, if its worthless Ill just scrap it and find a proper ke70 5speed. Thanks in advance.
