I suppose the fender mirrors would get rid of the blindspot a bit too yeah? I'm still tossing up between wing and fender mirrors. They look mad on the older rollas but on an e7? Would have to be the right ones i suppose.

i got my carpet from http://www.knoxautocarpets.com.au/ tho i didnt get it through the website i found it on ebay. It cost 150 including postage I think, maybe less. For that price only budget weave (but who wants shag pile?) and only 3 colour choices, black, dark grey and a lighter grey. And had no holes cut out so keep your old carpet as a template. And yeah I'm looking for dashmat too. Think these dudes do them too. Or repco. And dude honestly a sheet of 3mm MDF 2.4m x 1.2m $7.20, 3m of vinly from spotlight $44.85, contact adhesive $10, and then all ya need is a jigsaw, drill, staple gun and a few hours, (plus an old door card as a template and a few old towels!!!). yeah was wondering about the holes, i suppose if you wrap the sandpaper around something soft as a sanding block like some foam might be ok. And yeah pointing the back of the car towards the door might help, personally i was about to hook the exhaust to my dust mask.

i considered doing the same thing but can't find them in black. Plus i prefer a nice flat look. Plus a decent set would cost more than 10 bucks a door. Need to find chrome window winders tho, and some nice chrome wing mirrors.

just take them out cut the bump stops and weld the diff to the chassis. Similar for the front. Then just get a bean bag for ya front seat. :)

one down 3 to go, gonna have to sort those bumps out tho.

engine hat? and those wheels look like they will come up overrated. I have the same rims so ill have to give it a go.

I'm in oz mate. Ill have to check for those extra wires tho, would make life a bit easier. And trade me sucks, noone will get off their ass and post to oz, which sucks cos chrome bars are everywhere there. Slack kiwi's :) I'm gonna hunt some quads down with a vengence now.

made a few door cards today, first attempt was terrible, 2nd one turned out pretty sweet first attempt without padding, looked like dogs balls. second attempt, chrome door handle still to go on. Doors will be painted black too. i used an old towel for padding, worked sweet, ha ha :) Each door card cost me under $10 to make.

Soooooooo.... with the old quads. Is every part bolt in? I'm so tempted to spend the cash. I reckon i could figure out the wiring with my trusty voltmeter. Will they fit sweet to a flat front ke70? I'm guessing it was just a different trim in the day. Does the grill mount to the ke70 mounts? etc etc. If I get no horror stories I'll do it. today i stuck the tail lights in and put some underlay down. Stripped two door cards down ready to remake them and scrubbed 28 years worth of crap off all the plastic trim ready for paint. I hope its my almost flat battery cos the tail lights are doing weird things, brake light flashing when indicator on, gonna have to check my grounding methinks. thats it for now spent more time cleaning the garage than anything else, at least i found most of my tools!

sorry havent read the whole thread but the top bar with all the options staying at the top of your screen when you scroll would be cool. The home forum gallery bit. Or a static quick link somewhere. I know there is a jump to top but would be mad if the options are always there. no matter where you scroll.
