  1. Literally lmao! Go banana.
  2. Start a rides thread and put up some pics of your car and what you want to achieve. Everyone likes putting in their 2 cents once you start one! And especially considering there doesnt seem to be much of a limit when it comes to getting your car road legal after a gnarly engine conversion.
  3. Have a good look through the rides/conversions sections. Or use the search. If its been done it'll be on here somewhere. Most people here like it if you do a bit of research through the forums first. Then come back with questions. You wont be spoon fed :hmm: I learnt the hard way. And yeah the 4age is injected.
  4. Damn another event ill miss, I really should stop procrastinating. RWC check on monday...... Damn it I'm going to the Future Music Festival on saturday, no way I'd make it to this anyway. :hmm:
  5. I had an old escort and wondered why it smelt weird and found out there was a rat living in there. Took ages to find the little bastard.
  6. I used a trailer and shitty cheap thin ratchet straps to transport my van so I'm sure a trailer and chunky ratchets will do the job on a little rolla! And most servo's hire out the trailers for a reasonably price. If you use a trailer some of them have pins at the pointy end you need to pull out to tilt the tray to get it on, I've seen dudes winching their cars on without pulling them out and wondering why the car is bottoming out!
  7. check out the rides/engine conversions section. Weapon of choice seems to be the 4age engine but there are a lot of different conversions. You name it its probably been put in a corolla. If your going the rotary way there is a toyota club in new zealand that you should check out, can't remember it but someone will, rotor into rolla conversions are insane popular over there. Found it : http://www.toyspeed.org.nz/ 6 cylinder conversions arn't as popular here as it will never be road legal. EDIT : Welcome!
  8. super wicked awesomeness.
  9. Just cover it in Frangipanni stickers....
  10. think it is fixed now, well pretty much. Replaced the accelerator pump plunger with one out of a 5k carbie as the spare I bought was freaking plastic and I didnt trust it. Also while replacing it i noticed that the pump arm components were a bit loose and getting some lateral movement. A few washers and bits off a 3k and the 5k carb and she seems to go good now. There is still a slight issue when starting from standing as I need to keep the revs quite high but its down to under a second lag insteard of 3-4. Which I think is ok seeing as its a 28 year old car thats done 650,000 clicks. Once going she humms tho... I'm hoping this will be adressed with getting the timing done. New plugs and leads installed also so start up isnt as much of an issue. And as it hasnt been my daily I'm hoping once it has a decent run in and a thrash it'll clean out any other niggling cob webs. Cheers for all the advice.

Just wondering if the ampage etc might be different as they don't need as much power. Relays. Etc etc. I was also thinking those LED running lights, then went, ummmm na. And if ya need arrows to know which way a car is going it must be American :)
