2.5inch from turbo is all you will need, single mufler, not a cannon (this is up to you but it just wouln't be right foer a ke10, loud too)

Yeah, go 2.5in. I've got a 2.25in on my stocko 4A-C panelvan and it has a nice note, not too loud and gives decent back pressure I think :jamie:

My brother had an Exa turbo that was 1.5 litres, he used a 2.25 press bent exhaust with a lukey turbo muffler. It flow really well and didn't have that farting in a tin can like cannons give.

On my exa i ran a 2.5" dump pipe off the turbo (Turbo was a 2.3L diesel turbo and the dump pipe stopped under the start of the floor pan) which met up with 3" exhaust with a straight thru lukey turbo box, No mozzies in a milo tin and it flowed very good.

Mines just 2.5 off the turbo till under the passengers feet, then goes into a 2 inch system I bought off here with a very quiet muffler. sounds like a completely stock car when its just sitting there idling.

don't think its going to make any biggy what size you really use, just keep it above 2".

 

noticed you have a t25 listed in your sig matt! what happened to the saab turbo??

I'm running a 3 inch from turbo back, with turbos back pressure means nothing u don't need any

They are essentially the same,it uses a different style of wastegate delivery to the normal bolt on flange type. Just breatha a little easier when the wastegate is activated.

Ok so its all done ,but 2 1/2" and man does it make some grunt now.

hey guys i have a 5k motor thats had quite alot of work, eg 4age pistons quad throttles cam etc i was wondering if its necessary to run aftermarket extractors, if so where would i find them for a k series

what do you just have a standard header set-up. Yeah, extractors will make a difference.

 

Think of it this way: Would it be easier to take a shit if you had a bigger more free flowing arse hole!!!?? :)

 

same with intake, can "eat" more air if you have a bigger mouth!! but then a big mouth isn't all that much better if you don't have an appropiately sized throat (manifold, ports and valves).

I am in the process of fitting 7Mg injectors from a supra cause mine are out of puff at 12 PSI now with new exhaust.

No ive had it at 20 PSI but only down low as it leans out real bad.

 

Yeah the torque is killer man.
