After reading all this, I have but one thing to say: Fark, I love you guys! A friend of mine asked me if I wanted one of those hang ring things (supposedly from Japanese trains) as he found some 'cheap'. Told him if he got one I would personally beat him to death with it.

What does "hard parking" mean/refer to? To my brain, this term refers to the level of difficulty in the actual parking manoeuvre. For example: driving a large vehicle (e.g SUV, small truck) & executing a reverse parallel-park, finishing equal distance from the lines of the bay front/rear/drivers-side, without hitting anything & in no more than two moves. From what I can tell, all I need to do is instead of straightening my front wheels before turning off the engine, is leave some steering lock wound on.

I've seen a photo of a Chevrolet in the States with a Holden badge, I think I'd nearly wet myself laughing if I saw a Commodore in downtown Tokyo with that sticker! Imagining it, I see four or five Japanese guys, wearing Akubras, wife-beater singlets under flannelette shirts, football shorts & thongs. With a toy kangaroo hanging near the muffler with the LED-tip..

WGMG: A certain Mercedes Benz dealership, the work van had its faults (its a Vito, duh!) & about 8 weeks ago was taken in for a service. Which turned out to be just a fault-finding/arse-about session, an actual service was booked then for today after the sources of the problems were found. Arrive to collect the van this afternoon.....it hadn't been fixed. The excuse? "We had to order some parts from Germany"..... They knew exactly what they needed & when they'd have to do it 8 f**king weeks ago & are only ordering the parts now? Another thought, don't they think that it MIGHT just be handy to have a few spare parts for a Vito on-hand, given that they've sold how many thousands of the things in this country?

 

I'm going to leave some Hyundai i-load etc brochures on the dashboard & front seat when it goes in next time.

 

On a brighter note, I left the dealership smiling from ear to ear. But that was only because the Smart Car that was being loaded onto a tow-truck in their parking lot caught fire halfway up.

Reversing into a carpark, normally getting out with your wheels slightly turned and standing near by it, a lot like fnf.

Its called hard parking because of how hard it is to drive your car over the car park speed bumps in your hectic 1" off the ground Honda Jazz.

i have a problem and have no idea how to fix it, i just finished lowering my 25 coupe. but no the back end has moved to the left by an inch looking at it from the back. if anyone knows what i can do to rectify this it would be much appreciated

How did you lower it?

WGMG: My 4AGE keeps hunting at idle. But only once it's warm? I think it may be air in the cooling system but I've tried multiple times to bleed it and it's still doing it. GRRRRRRRRR!

Good question. I'm waiting on someone to ask about the '25's non-existing pan-hard bar and if its the stock one and yadda yadda.....

Have you bleed the air from the throttle body ?

FIXED IT!

 

It wasn't air in the coolant. I had blocked off all the water lines into the throttle body, and all the vacuum lines, but for some reason I had forgot about the cold-start/wax pellet thing. And since there was no hot coolant flowing through the throttle body to melt the wax pellet, the cold-start port was constantly open, meaning when it got hot it was getting too much air and started hunting.
