Don't tell your girlfriend anything because she will go and tell her best friend who will tell another person and before you know it, everyone knows about it. You tell your girlfriend off and she says "I only told my best friend and she promised she wouldn't say anything". Tell me about it ay, even worse is when her friedns start going off at you. She told my mate, things didnt seem too bad with him. and then i had one of her friends who i wouldnt know from a bar of soap start going off at me for some reason :( i was like "excuse me, but who the F&%K are you?" i don't get angry but yesterday was frustrating!almost 8 hrs to change a clutch in a RWD. i hate compact complex RWD cars that you need tiny little asian hands to get to everything!! so if anyone wants to buy an mx5 make sure the clutch is newish!! cos its a mega bitch! i'm sure jason can add to this too as he spent the 8 hrs with me doing it! I would believe every word you say Luc. The oil filter on the Miata was bad enough so i can imagine what the clutch was like. How was the gorge road trip after? WGMG? The fact that i had to pull over/slow down 5 times in under 110km due to the lil beast over heating :D I knew i shouldnt have left the seal up in there as long as i did. Damn stuff started blockin up me radiator. With that in mind it obviously does a wicked job of sealing shit tho :y: Quote

Which me and Luc had to hold up for about an hour trying to get the damn thing in properly. My shoulder still hurts from doing it. If you have access to a hoist then it would be 10x easier. Quote

corolla_nut Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 (edited) WGMG: My headlights keep on turning off randomly when I touch my indicators and you have to fiddle with them to get the lights back on again. Robert says that the contacts inside the stalk are probably stuffed so I'm thinking I'm going to pull it off and replace it with another one tomorrow (I have so much shit to do, and then my car decides to be a pain) my 2nd WGMG: when we had the ke55 off the road for manufacturing and sourcing of linkages and installation of SU's Robert decided it would be a great idea to take out my current indicators/stalk which didn't self-cancel (self cancelling indicators drive me loony :y: :D ) and replace them with the ones out of the ke30. He'd been trying on and off for a bit to get the ones that didn't self cancel to work, but just replaced them and told me that he managed to get them to work. This was probably 12 months ago now, and he only let it slip last week when I told him that there were some sort of wiring demons in my car causing my lights to turn off that he actually swapped the self-cancelling indicators out of the ke30. Head will be coming off when the SC goes on, Will be sourcing another raditaor (possibly commo, like Jason did) and apart from the head to block coolant passages theres no other place it will seal up. and i can just pop then thru with a screw driver if they are gummed up. BUT, its a great product. I was just too lazy and left it in the system for WAYYYYYY to long :y: Stupid laziness Quote

As soon as my head hits the pillow, BAM, blocked nostril. Then I get the "your breathing loud" or "your snoring, can't you breathe through your nose!" lol. Then in the mornings after I get up and have breakfast, its gone again. happens 5/7 nights of the week, always at random. gives me the shits! Quote

I'm not a fan of doctors, so If its not killing me, I generally wont go to one! I haven't tried to see if its just being horizontal, I might have a few lay down sessions on the weekend and see what happens. actually, just read another thread that reminded me of something for here. My neighbour. we used to hang around alot a few years ago and were pretty good friends. Then we kinda drifted apart, and he fell off the wagon, been through about ten jobs in the last two years (gets fired for not turning up, or flogging stuff etc, but I suppose atleast he gets jobs instead of bludging off the taxpayer), gets pissed and then decides to drive to friends houses. I didnt want to be the wet blanket, but I had to say somthing to his parents (for his and everyone else on the roads sake) and they said they had tried talking to him, but he tells them "I'm 19, people my age are meant to do this stuff" (I'm only 21, so its not like I'm that out of touch with him age wise) Thats bad enough, but there is more. He had an excel as his first car, crashed it, I helped him repair it, he then blew the gbox, helped him fix that, then he sold it to a friend for $500 when he had trashed it again. Then bought a nice clean VS commodore. always had bald tyres, slowly got trashed, blew the motor and then couldnt afford to fix it, so he bought a bronze flat fronted KE70 off a friend for $600 with 6 months rego. the thing was rusty as and wouldnt pass another pink slip wihtout alot of work. So yesterday, I came home to find him punching panels, jumping on the bonnet, the roof etc etc. I asked him what he was doing, and he told me it was out of rego today, so he was going to trash it, drive it up to the ridgeway and rally it, then set it on fire (in a heavily forested area with alot of rural housing etc etc) Front end was pretty much perfect (gaurds, grille, headlight surrounds, headlights, bumpers etc) just such a f@$king moron.
