My views used to get opposed everywhere on my black car :bash:

Some days it was fun, others not so much :y:

But at least when people looked at my car and put their views on it they new exactly what they were looking at, thats the point i was trying to get across.

Hi, I'm Doug's (Felix) Missus.

Well when you think about you don't REALLY have any idea, that wasnt your life it was your wifes.

Believe me, he does have an idea. As for you, what you are saying is slightly hypocritical, it is not your life is it???

And after hearing all that about your wifes life, don't you have sympathy for others who could be in that position or worse

I never wanted or needed sympathy.

All you need Lexxi, is to believe in yourself. Take it from someone who has been there. You are the only person who can get this done for yourself. I learnt a long time ago, never to rely on anyone but myself to get done what had to be done. If I didn't do what had to be done, no one else would, and the crap I'd get from not doing things would be far worse. Believe me when I say that I actually wouldn't change anything from my teenage years. It has made me the person I am today. You can do it, believe in yourself. You are the only person who is in your head space, and you should only aim to make your head a better place for you.

Doug isn't one for freely giving out sympathy, this doesn't make him a bastard. He gives out respect. This is far more valuable than sympathy. He taught me to believe in myself. Something my parents NEVER taught me.

Me, I don't really sympathise either. But I will empathise with you. Life is hard and sucks a lot of the time. No one is walking in your shoes but you, and you are the only one who can make your life better.

Remember to focus on the positive things. The little things really are more important than the big picture. Without the little things there would be no big picture.

No it it is not my life, ill admit that part, it is a bit hypocrytical, call it even.

Those are some good words for Lexxi. And i think it is better that it is coming from someone who has been there.

Call it even, ive had a bad day :bash: and ive said my little peice for my friend.

But i will thank you for your words though, i know of a few people who need to hear them.

I pretty run everything in my house, my parents act like lazy alcoholic teenagers, I do everything every day, I travel two hours a day, I have no time for a job, or even friends. The only friends I have left I only see once a month, if that. Add to that I haven't been well since the end of last year so I pretty much fall asleep at 8 oclock every night so I have even less time than most people my age, yeah my life is simple.

You have no time for all of these things but you still have enough time to come on Rollaclub and debate with people about how hard your life is?

Just remember, if you've had a bad day, count to 10 and breathe deeply. It doesn't help to vent on others who aren't the reason your day is bad. (Even if you think you are doing the right thing by your friend.)

As I tell my kids, "don't bash the computer if it's not working cos it will only break more and you'll have no more games." Walk away, collect your thoughts, breathe and try to look at it in a different way, and all your problems will work themselves out. Patience is severely underestimated. There is no point in lashing out, it only gets you in more trouble. (or sent to your room with no dessert.) They always listen and go to bed happy cos they got dessert.

Yea definately i will next time.

I think that also applies to driving too, i was driving the other day and car didnt act like i wanted it to, so i got a bit spooked but kept driving, next corner the car still didnt act like i wanted it to and the situation was worse, i now need to repair a wheel and get a wheel alignment and a balence.

Stop and have a breather if something like that happens to you (the first time, don't let the second time happen).

:bash:

I was in school, dropped out and worked for a few years, now I'm currently back in school, doing my TEE. And it is so much harder. Mind you, my last job was more physical, this, is a bigger drain on your body. And depending on someone's status, they may not be at home, so they have other stressful things, like money to deal with :bash:. Just saying that school is harder than working imo.

I'm confused how this got from a "what grinds my gears"

to an

"explain why you have a right to say something grinds your gears and then go backwards and forwards telling life stories on an open internet forum for everyone to see and then group hug"

Lexxi finds her life hard, she gets angry and stressed at things that are hard to her, end of story, why is anyone comparing anything?

everyone is different, everyone deals with things in different ways and everyone can find the same things harder or easier to deal with at any given time.

Lets get past the jumping on people for having a gripe thing.

and for today WGMG is the weather, why the hell can't it make up its mind and just rain or be sunny for more then a single day!

Might I add to my list of irritating things. I hate it when parents buy their kids brand new cars. I know this guy who's parents bought him a brand new commerdore with all the perks when he was 18. It even had his name in personalised plates. He ended up selling that to buy himself a 200sx.

I went to school with another bloke who's parents bought him a brand new 200sx. He took it to a party where it got f@$king trashed.

Friends of the family bought their kid a brand new car. He was in a road rage incident with a gang where the car was mangled. Insurance replaced it and shortly after that he totaled it.

My solution, buy your kids a shitter, they shouldn't have a high powered car for their first car. They usually end up crashing them.

Here Here,

My dad made me buy a write off and build it up again (bringing my AE71 to life).

It gave me a great appreciation of 2nd hand cars and helped me learn my car control slowly and in-depth.

Mate of mine had his license for a week. Bought a 200SX and destroyed it in a track day... Such a waste.

I hate it how my work, as soon as i turned 18, cut all of my shifts pretty much giving me the boot just cause it would cost them an extra $2 an hour for me to work there.

My main hate at the moment is my school. They provide (at best) 4 classes a day at school and give us detention for being truent for the classes they don't provide. I mean FFS we're in yr 12 with 13 school days left before HSC.

Another one of my hates is people that steal P-plates off cars. Do they not realise that it is 1 point and A hefty fine for every missing P-plate. Its never happened to me but i see it happen all the time.

Great thread.

/Rant

I get my P-Plate stolen constantly.

One time, someone actually broke into the locked car and took the P-Plates only... Excuse the language, but what a f@$king Tosser.

I hate My f@$king Headmaster. Muck-up day is tomorrow and he has gone and said that throwng waterbombs is a form of abuse and will be dealt with accordingly. I mean they are waterbombs not knives. But thats ok he said nothing about cable ties and gaffer tape. Or potatoes up exhaust pipe!

My Headmaster went to the point of employing security guards and big dogs to patrol the school on muck-up day...

Lol at debate about how hard your lives are.

WGMG is how people complain about your life. Your life is a reflection of your choices. Atleast you have food on your table and a warm bed to sleep in at night.

I'd like to take this chance to apologise to Lexxi. We have a lot of things happening in our lives atm and it influenced how I addressed her.

Completely agree, don't rely on anyone but yourself/ close family.

I work with my dad so its easier for me, and at the same time harder because of conflicts.

WGMG: is p plate race driver wannabes/mini-truckers. A p plater decided to fly out near my where my car was parked at tafe today while i was in the car, and hit the car next to mine, funny thing is the kid whos car he hit was just telling us the other week of how he bashed the guy that tried to drive off without stopping to exchange details, so he bashed the f@$k outta him for it (not that i agree with that "cough got what he deserved cough")

Anywho.

Id hate to be that p plater ahhah, serves him right though speeding in a tiny car park, if he hadnt of hit the car next to me he would have hit me right in the drivers side front door.....

Thats 2 days in a row ive been able to call my self lucky from a close call accident wise (other one not in a car).
