Having no luck with cars..

Dad's forcing me to sell the project car I JUST FREAKING BROUGHT.. So angry because i'm losing more money...

The daily Commonwhore is running true to it's name, like a slut. When it's been driven on constant short trips with no time to cool down you basically overheat the electrical system and it all stops. Only way to get it to start is to lock and unlock the car again..

Oh well, plus side is that I feel less sick now.

this makes absolutely no sense at all, but good luck with it!

one must ask how your car is a slut?

slut: Slut or slattern is a pejorative term applied to an individual who is considered to have loose sexual morals or who is sexually promiscuous.

How do you overheat the electrical system? Are you pouring boiling water over the wires or something?

You haven't routed the wires through the exhaust have you?

No no no... More like just faulty electrics, they were designed to take heat so unless they are on fire I wouldn't say that they over heat.

You probably have a sticky relay that needs replacing etc etc.

Well when the car is at operating temperature, I'll drive it from point A to B, get back in it after 30 seconds of it being off, go to start, turn the key, no power to anything. Take key out, lock and unlock car, then it decides to fire up, idle hunts for a split second and she's back to normal.
