And lastly I noticed my other window winder isn't like this one. So knowing Dougie will be viewing this thread... Do you have one?? HINT HINT

Yes Jon, hint taken.

I'll have a scrounge around my parts/sheds and see what i've got.....

The plastic part looks like a KE1X handle but the metal part looks KE2X????

I'll let you know in a day or so....

Yes that would be sweet. thanks guys.

I went to get a quote to have my drivers seat repaired and repadded today and to have the top of the back seat redone as its cracked. Turns out that I won't be able to have it in that colour so I'll be getting the "New" sections painted.

Problem: Its cracked!

I managed to score a "Brand New Genuine" dash from a US member.

After a lot of messing around, I finally got the old cracked dash out.

And now the old dash beside the new one.

After a lot of meddling, the new dash is in.

PROBLEM: New dash is on top, old dash is on the bottom. The moulded holes are completely different. I'm confused as to what to do...

Hopefully I'll sort it out tomorrow. I'm assuming if I don't stick the screws into these slots that the corners will curl up.

I'll suss mine out on the weekend and get your some pics. Me thinks thats where the air vent may screw into on one of the screw holes, but can't be too sure as I don't have a dash or car to access at this point in time.

There is one screw that screws the dash to the frame, while the vents screw into the frame (Not through the dash)

Well I'm sure if it doesnt end up fitting in then you could put the dash into one of your other rolla's.

I will be watching to see what you end up doing with your dash, because mine is F*%@ed up worse than yours is.

Good luck with it all. i got no idea What the go is with the 2 holes.

Considering it costed me $375 delivered, I kinda wish I paid the extra $20 and had my Dash Restorer guy just reconstruct me a new one.
