TheNOBBLER[RL] Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) Just thought is would be rude of me not to share some of these pics... As we are all car lovers I think some of you will enjoy this thread! I work for a reputable Motor Trimmer in Melbournes west that deals with this sort of work daily, so as much as I love them its just normal for me to see this kind of stuff now and as such I probably don't appreciate it as I used to. Enough blabbing... will let the pics do there thing. And sorry if the pics are a bit blury... all taken on my mobile! JP And my own ride because I can! Edited April 11, 2008 by TheNOBBLER Quote

TheNOBBLER[RL] Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) More pics coming... Yes yes, trimmers can be handy... provided you can find time to fit in all of the back yard jobs people have for you! I'm run off my feet with work these days, I have had my car for over 6 months now and I'm only just starting the trim! Bit of info on the cars above. The 58 Chev in the first pic is a work of art. 6 years to finish and 4 windscreens broken trying to chop it to shape (its had a 4inch roof chop, about $20k's worth!), air bags and a hot 400ci Chev/turbo 700 combo and many, many hours of body work to get it looking that good. Keep an eye out in Cruizin magazine and Australian street rodding for it soon. The FC ute/crewman... where do you start? made from a overrated ute and a wagon it has a full size rear seat area yet only 4 seats (mazda buckets) due to a full length steel centre console that runs from the rear window to the dash. Air, steer, 350/350/9inch combo and rear helper bags for the extra weight. Also, the side trim is all airbrushed! Over 2500 hours to build this baby! 36 ford ute is owned by the owner of the lightning cleans products owner... can't begin to describe this ute... too much to mention! 55 Chev wagon is my favourite (I love wags), its only just been bought in from the states and is in our shop at the moment (how come customs didnt find the mice in the roof lining? I did!) and runs a VERY VERY tough engine/driveline combo and gets its patinad look from sitting outside for many years before the recent owner swapped his running gear into it and baged it (with many other mods to get it that bloody low). GOing to be a great ratty cruiser... the way I like them. Next is just a view of the shop showwing "chev city" as we are refered too. The cleanest XD I have ever seen. Period. All steel 28 Tudor... very nice indeed... show quality and would be a wild ride with the blown small block. This 32 was recently unfinished at the Vic Hotrod Show and we trimmed it to go to the nationals in Tassis ovr easter. A well thought out traditional styled rod... amazing what you can do with fibreglass these days! And my AP5 Val wagoon... In need of paint and a new set of whitewalls! Getting the exhaust split into a proper twin system next week (currently splits into two after the exhaust manifold, will be split to the extractors now for a barky note) and will be running my twin carbs again... thats about all I have done bar a good clean and a 5inch drop in the rear and 3 in the front! hehe Hope this gets you where you need to be ... :) JP Edited April 11, 2008 by TheNOBBLER Quote

TheNOBBLER[RL] Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 No mustangs for a while actually... Last one was a 65 Convertable that we did the soft top on. Some more for you all. The Camaro... You will all like this, shes running a bloody big block (Around 572ci) pumping out over 600hp at the fly... and thats before the blower goes on! Its now running 20inch wheels as well. The XD's rear The 58's trim Best thin to do after a hard days work... Quote
TheNOBBLER[RL] Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) For Mick... runs 11's... Edited April 11, 2008 by TheNOBBLER Quote
Raven Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Yum! That's tidy. I nearly bought an XF Ex-show car about 5 years ago for 3g's :lolcry: Had Simmons B45's on it and was also gunmetal grey with velour interior. Only downside is it was auto and carby, not injected. Any engine bay shots? :) Quote
Kid-Ae Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 XD FTW! I'm not usually a fan of big chrome rims but those do look mighty fine! the purple reflection in the rear one looks cool too haha Quote
