KE70-from-mt-panorama Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 My OMG of late is that We have had a Lancia Delta at work for a few weeks. It is the definition of overrated. It still has the plastic protective lining over the carpet, carpet on door trims, and anywhere else it was when it came out. It is immaculate. the outside is a bit more worse for wear. Just needs a basic tidy up and detail for it to match the interior though. I think it is the "HF Intergrale" model. From what i have heard these things are fairly rare. The owner has knocked back offers over $1million.
JiP Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 I found out something today that i shouldn't know. One of my sisters has found a lump on her breast. She has only told the girls but one of my sisters needed to talk to someone about it. I'm surprised mum hasn't been told. I wanna tell her but its not my place. I know my mum worries but i think she'll be more upset if we don't tell her.

Sorry to hear mate, You fam seems to have a bad time with illness (including your glandular), It may be a swollen milk duct but get that checked out asap. Edited January 21, 2009 by Trev
JiP Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 She apparently saw a doctor and needs to have some tests run. She can only get the test done on Thursdays. But since today is her anniversesy she's putting it off by a week which i think is silly. I'm pretty sure her partner wouldn't mind a small portion of the day occupied by doctors.
JiP Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) I do think my family has health issues. Dads sick with so many problems. He's a diabetic, has a heart condition, asthma. I have a heart condition, asthma, my brother has a heart condition, my sister has asthma. Mum's going blind. My grandfather died of cancer. So there even seems to be cancer history in the family now too. Edited January 21, 2009 by JiP
orangeLJ Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 ouch. I'm fairly lucky in my family, a bit of glaucoma, flat feet and bad backs, thats about all we have flying around. My partners side of the family has a bit of diabetes, but not much else.
JiP Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 I'd say everything my dad has is from over 50 years of smoking. My mums blindness comes from her grandmother who was blind too. Me and my brother are the only ones ever to have heart problems in the history of our family, and we both were born with it while the 3 girls didn't. We've both had open heart surgery and my brother has a pacemaker now. I am worried for my sister tho. But can't talk to her as i shouldn't know. :P
orangeLJ Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Thats always a shitty position to be in. I will say this though, secrets, no matter how big, never go down well in family situations. Someone always gets hurt in the end. She should really just get it checked and then decide on what she is going to do about telling everyone. But i suppose it depends on how big your immediate family is, how close you guys are, the relationships etc etc.

JiP Posted January 22, 2009 Author Report Posted January 22, 2009 Sure are. But he's a boy and if he's anything like me it'll be the first of many. I think he hit his head on the wire under the seat of my gym as thats where his cars were stacked.
towe001 Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Its my nephews 2nd birthday today and he just cracked his head open along his forehead! :( We are waiting for the ambulance now. :( Cool a ride in an ambulance :) But the reason behind it isn't a good one :no2: Here's hoping to him making a super quick recovery and back on his feet doing what every 2 year old does driving everybody loopy :) For your sis i recommend the 'puzzled look' then after a little bit the "I have a feeling there's something not right, you don't seam yourself" approach. Your not telling her that you've been told just that your getting the feeling that something not right. But then again if it was my sis - i'd more then likely give her a kick in the butt for not telling me
