My vote goes to the Tivo adds, with that Fudgewitt tellings us how bloody good they are. They cost 700 bucks!

Not long after i got my xbox 360 i was searching for ideas on how to set up a wireless net connect for it and the computers and found a couple of articles on "tivo". Things like an up front fee. a monthly fee, big brother knowing what you are watching etc etc.

Windows Vista media centre does the same thing and better.

 

 

Back on topic - internet trojans/worms that infest through the anti-spyware program and start dumping adds for porn sites and other rubbish.

I heard this radio add the other day. I think it was for cheap air fares. I found it interesting how it was only available on the net yet credit card surcharges applied.

So they get the money back that they lose on the sale by charging you when you pay. And its the only way to pay.

Anyone seen the hahn superdry man blading ad (HERE IF YOU HAVEN'T), It annoys me cause the 3 guys have just walked away from a soccer game (poofters football) and the one with the singlet just looks gay, The only men in that ad is the one's on the blades.

The adds that shit me off the most....on the radio. Mostly during drive time shows (peak hour). Is the stupid RACQ adds where they play a song and theres a squeaking/knocking noise in the background of the song....you're just getting into the song and then the voice over guy comes in and says "Imagine if your car was actually breaking down right now"....No, i don't want to imagine that, because i do regular services to prevent it from happening you stupid numpty.

 

Even If i was to break down i wouldnt be calling RACQ, i'd do what i did last time i blew up a diff and tow it home myself....least then i know it's not going to come home with half a stereo or dents in it. Plus the fact that any squeak in my car shits me to tears. I purposely wouldnt sign up to RACQ purely for those adds.

Something about the Anlene add just doesn't do it foe me. The chick looks fake. Are we meant to believe that its the milk that makes her young?? Or her surgeon??

 

I like the White Stagg adds and I just saw a new Heineken add. Looks pretty funky. Come to think of it, I seem to be enjoying the beer adds and I don't even drink the stuff. Must be a sign.

Definitely the Haggle ads. The dwarf makes me sooooo mad. Also that new corolla ad with the cats and the "What's frustration" ad where the kid says "Maybe she can do my homework". Grrrrr... Oh yeah, the AAMI one with the stupid boy playing with that remote control car!

 

Love that ad on the radio with the guy interviewing the jockey though. That cracks me up.
