February 18, 200917 yr comment_319735 When cruising at 100 in 4th gear my car does 3000 rpm. So yours should be something like that. Report
February 18, 200917 yr Author comment_319741 yea, i thought thats what it did with the 4spd when i had the tach in it. with the 5spd it would do like 2000rpm maybe? Report
February 18, 200917 yr comment_319764 i reckon, why would it be doing that? probs why it uses so much damn fuel!!! :bash: Report
February 18, 200917 yr comment_319795 really? cause it did about that with old engine and its the driveline that changes the revs Report
February 18, 200917 yr comment_319851 WHat man in my ke70 5speed it does 3200 at 100km/h!!!! lol your lucky, my 4agze does 4000rpm at 100km/h!! Report
February 18, 200917 yr Author comment_319868 High compression might be makin it do higher revs... BA BAWM..wrong :bash: really? cause it did about that with old engine and its the driveline that changes the revs Yea, its the gear ratios which change the speed of which the wheels turn. The lower the ratio the lower the wheel speed therfore needing more revs to turn the wheels at the same speed. Get a higher ratio diff if you wanna drop your revs. Report
February 18, 200917 yr comment_319938 Still no pics with a SC12 on the side of a 4k and inside your engine bay......... Report
February 18, 200917 yr comment_319990 Why are you using a 3k head on a 4k (ie high comp motor) for corced induction? Or is that just an interum motor unitl you get a charged 4k happening? Report
February 19, 200917 yr Author comment_320223 As Luc said above. thats what the engine had on it when i bought it ( unbeknowns to me) so i slapped it back on and will get a good condish 4k head from UPI and get it machined so its dead flat and do the valve stem seals. Raven was sayin a while back that a 4k/3k head combo with an sc12 tuned right could put out a nice torque figure. Report
