JiP
The old hot water system use to be submerged in water when it rained this bad. I wish I had my ph in my pocket to begin with. There was a torrent of water flowwing through the yard. I peeked into the neighbors yard and the water was deep. I don't think they are home. Victoria is pretty dry all over hey, We have friends in melbourne that came up and stayed with us over the new year period, they were stoked with the fact we could wash our cars and hose the garden! not to mention the fact we got flogging down rain while they were here. Was in NSW recently and couldn't get over all that green stuff that covers the ground up there! Never see anything like that in SA... JiP
I was stuck in today's storm. Apparently at the house it was worse than yesterdays. The water was so high mum and dad were trying to stop it from getting into the garage and even the house. I'm bummed I missed it.

JiP
They saved the garage. I'd say that dad was trying to save his beer and mum the appliances. Either way my many engines, gearboxes, carbs and aircons are safe.
