July 30, 200521 yr comment_61362 the wrecker up the road from me has a ke30 4door with a 308 in it. looks 100% stock from the outside, just lowered at the front (weight) he gets cars like this, chucks v8's in them then sells them off to people for $4000-7000 to drive as daily's :P they all keep the original 3k rego too! he also goes in burnout comps. has a ke35 with a 202 straight 6 a few years back. scott. March 19, 200620 yr comment_107554 G'day Well, 95% of people that go on about putting big motors into KE's are all talk, 5 post wonders. The 5% that actually go ahead and do it, are the ones that have there heads screwed on, and know what they are doing / or actually go and talk to an engineer about the project, apposed to just relying on a car club forum. Basically, if it was to be done, things like seam welding, roll cages, chassy braces.. etc would be on the agenda. It also depends what use the car has (Drag / Street / DrIfT 1337) And yes, corollas were not build for V8's from new :D Report
