for the power windows, the easiest way to do it is to use the power window system from a mid 80s to early 90s jap car.

 

most of these have a cable operated system that is quite easy to adapt to any vehicle,

 

go to the wreckers, and have a look behind the doorcards of a 929, 626, cressida, ect, and you will see what i mean,

the system they use is quite universal with a few homemade brackets.

 

could probably even get some pics of some next time i go to the old mans shop.

i would really appreciate it if you made a "DIY ke55 power window" thread with lots of pics

 

ill have a look through the test units at work and see if i can "modify" the motor, window reg, and door control module,

 

(press down once and window goes all the way down automatically) and same as going up

 

beats spending $700 on a ebay kit!

little update steering wheel.( has been on for a while) and my new horn button. didn't have one

 

and if you've tried to chase em up without buying a wheel or bosskit new ebay and old stock is your only option.

Whered you get the chrome trimmings from? More so the gutter chrome one

hey i was just wondering how do you get the old door trims off i can't seam to get the door handle i have a gregory's manual book but i can't get the handle off

cuzzo: the top gutter ones? running above the windows? they are stock..

 

unless your talking about the sill panel ones they are standard on some corollas.

 

Azzy10 if you've undone that screw pull the handle and the plastic bit will slide off it.

nah just autosol'd the crap outta them. came up a treat.!

it all good now me and my mate found the little clip on the window winder there a bit of afiddle to get off thank you any way

ok so little update.... lowered the front a bit more looks much better now.

also fitted short stroke shocks from a st185 celica GT4.

 

and BIG update.... fukin dirty stinking stupid k motors.... blew the headgastket. so the bay is getting stripped.

a 4k is going in and a 5 speed. also the bay will get paint treatment while i'm at it.
