This may be finished by the time Justin Bieber hits puberty.. You've got another 10 years :lolcry:

But come on, how much more detail can you put into this?

Looking good Luke!

This and RollaBus are the pinnacle of ae82s!

Cheers Ben, little bit by little bit!

Yep, the pinnacles of the unfinished! :laff: Although RollaBus has a MUCH better reason for that than I do!

I know they're not very active here on RollaClub, but Bugzbarney's is frigging awesome & there's a very special FX-GT up north!

You don't do things in half measures aye? haha

Looking real neat man!

I can't really, that bare metal on the roof panel been exposed to the air too long for my liking. The time it took to rust treat was bugger all & gives a better base for the primer to stick to. If primer no stick, paint falls off, bad things happen.

Is any project ever 'finished'? ;)

Do you really want me to answer that question? :P

I'll redefine finished.. On the road!

Haha you do have a valid point there. Must come have a look at this thing in person sometime, just to say I've seen it!

It's getting there, I have a proper location for top coating confirmed now, feeling better! :D

I'd be doing more tonight, but someone has me searching for car parts. :P

I know the answer to this question, and most would agree.

No project is ever finished until you sell it or scrap it.

Keep up the good work Luke.

Josh

Haven't touched the car, been a little busy & a little distracted. ;)

I've gotta spread some forum love to Jono.C who saw my bitching about the price of postage from the US & offered me this. He's done a fantastic job of reviving it & packaged the snot out of it so there was minimal chance of damage. Much appreciated man! :y:

Like the gearknob, I've never owned the factory item.

Due to recent events regarding shifty characters abusing our communitys For Sale area, I urge you all to be extremely careful with making purchases. I've been lucky so far, have not had any problems whatsoever but the potential is always there. On eBay for instance, if the seller has a feedback of less than 96%, I won't touch it. It's no absolute guarantee but it's about all I can do aside from ask questions, avoid Western Union transfers etc.

I see we've had a feedback system of sorts here before, but it didn't seem to work. :( On my profiles 'about me' page there's a list of members I've successfully traded with, hopefully it may help any future buyers.

What's next on the agenda for the bodywork?

Finish roof then strip & prime underbody. No bogging for underbody so should be pretty quick to do, just going to go a chassis/underbody black.

No work on car still, lots of trade school theory work to work my head around before Journeymans & tinkering with R/C cars in my spare time.

I must say a big thankyou to dpb for the 4 x LS1 coilpacks he brought down to CC&D this morning (more parts to hoard for future engine). Had the plugs/brackets/everything, cheers mate! :y:

Thinking lowered springs soon so I can achieve this ride height minus the parents, mate & dog. :hmm:

Just one set, the springs are on a shelf waiting for me to order bumpstop kits as well as swaybar bushes so she will finally have a front swaybar!!! Need to replace my broken dashtop too...bah, she's shiny, that'll do for now. :)
