Signed up for an apprenticeship at work today.

 

I keep my fulltime wage, its fully paid for by the government, I get a $5500 untaxed tool allowance.

 

Phuck yes, so happy. So glad I fell into that job, best thing thats ever happened to me.

Yeah, you get drip fed the tool allowance. $800 first payment but that should mean I can take my other tools home and get a fresh set for work with a semi OK tool box. Will be good not having to transport tools back and forth.
