Hrmm so much for the bottom of the drivers window reg being rusted out. Pulled off the door card and one of the bolts to hold the window reg in fell out. Back in she went and now the window is fine.

And the dicky ' theres a knack to it' door lock just needed the arms straightened out and the lock shim bent a bit to hold the lock tight.

Yep. Put in second(while it's running) and let the clutch out until it just grabs, then it should slide straight into reverse.

My K50 was the same.

Damn double post. Now I know your selling the superlights and changing to flat front etc. But I do really like the look of this as is. So it's going to look awesome with flat front and the teks on.

Yeah it worked a treat, I did some reading up and it seems a pretty common problem.

 

My new problem is my idle, I think the radiator is doing too good of a job.

Barely registers on the temp gauge (yes its working fine). May need to block some of it off to get some more heat in the engine.

hey man, good to see you stayed with the rollas. Maybe instead of blocking the radiator up you could try a differently rated thermostat. Maybe a higher temp?

yeah this is all new to me, its fine driving at low speed but from cruising along the highway to stopping at the lights it stalls out.

As soon as there is some heat its fine. Ill have a google about the thermostat and see what I can find.
