anyone have a 1275 engine laying around?

I'm not sure what its like up north, but my next door neighbor had to import a metro 1275 to get something half reasonable.

I've seen a fair few 4e turbo GT Starlet powered minis in Melbourne. Would be a serious rocket in something this light.

ah cool mate..

yeah starting see how expensive the 1275's are...

may be chasing my uncle's motor, if i can beg it out of him..

on the up side, i had Dave Hanson around for a RWC on the skyline to sell, and while he was here, he suggested a new set of points would fix the car running rough.

so i did, and it did..!

thing runs like a dream!

going for RWC on friday, hope to have her regoed on monday..!

looks pretty cool mate, had an old neighbour who had a bright yellow one he used to cut around to work. i actually have a 40mm sidedraft dellorto and gooseneck manifold at home, its my mates but its just been sitting round. was originaly run on a 1100cc. theres a bloke in west ipswich near the golf course that has heaps of minis he might be able to point u in the direction for the 1275
