Well because I've never started a thread about my KE70 in rides and projects, I decided it is about time I did.

 

The next step for my KE70 is a set of twin 40mm Dellortos..

should make the 4kc breathe a little easier...they look really nice.

 

Is there any specific difference/advantage concerning downdraft or sidedraft carb's? Just a little question that has been annoying me lately lol.

are you sure it is a K series manifold? the head mounting flange looks wrong.

 

You are scaring me now..

 

Will have to double check by matching it to a a spare head we have lying around somewhere..

the inner inlet runner bolt holes are normally shared with those of the middle part of the exhaust/extractors. probably not really described well, but i have attached a pic of the manifold flange from my SU manifold for you to compare.....

 

hoping maybe the manifold hasn't been quite finished off, and you can grind it to fit?
