I've had that happen many many many times, you just get the bit of axle out, slip a new axle in and away you go. We did it once at 2 am so we could go out and swing more donuts!!

i have a stock ke20 centre in sydney if you want one.

i wish i could say ive doen that before (snap an axle n kill a diff)

 

but i can't coz i never have EVER, i guess some mite say i drive to soft :P hahahahahahah.

 

burnout ke20s for the win, throw a bigger diff in it and be done with it, at least ull be able to spin up ya B45s without worrys.

i want to put in a bigger diff thou i want to keep the 110 stud pattern so i can keep the B45's any ideas??

my friend has a ke55 diff which he made to fit the ke20 with the 110 stud pattern, i remember helping him drill out the hubs with a hand drill and making them nice with a file, i'll ask what else he did.

ive gota commodore borgy in the back of my RB30ET powerd ke20 and its been converted back to 4x110pcd and still has the commo rear disk brake setup.

 

ive gota XD borgy in the 250xflow ke20 which has been converted back to 4x114pcd, both diffs do the job

 

but a hilux or commo diff is your best bet, many ratios to choose from, spline selection is good, alot of after market upgrades a;so some pretty big brake setups going around to suit aswel.

yeah they all sound good...thou I'm worried about the width because the wheels just fit now...so ill have to get them cut down. anyway ill work something out.

You will have to get just about anything cut down mate, but once you spend the dollars, you wont ever have to worry about it again

can't you use a madza diff out of a series 1 or 2. and they have the right stud patten :P

From my experiances mazda diffs don't seem to be very strong. :P

Anything is stronger than a corolla diff.

 

But since the car is nice, with a nice engine, his best bet would be to get something cut down, and put in, and then NEVER have to worry about it again :P

yeah thats true...ill just put in a ke20 diff again till i get my ke35 on the road then ill start playing around with diffs and other things...so i guess for now no more burn outs! :(

wouldnt a commo or hilux diff be a bit of over kill for a ge?
