oh well, my plan in the near future is to get a ke10 or 20 of some discription, just clear coated 1 wheel and its looking realy snazzy. i brought a polishing tip for my drill at rare spairs and it was like $16.35, pretty bloody dear

what do you mean by "polishing tip"???

if its sort of like a die grinder bit, then you could create yourself more work than you save if you take the smooth finish off it!! best way to get a nice polished finish is with wet and dry sand paper, getting finer and finer and then a bit of a polish after that. REMEMBER - The high gloss finish you maybe after will always be more so from wet sanding that what you will ever actually get from a tin/tube of polish.

just a drill bit style thingo, and yes i have started on a rough grade sand paper going to a finer one then to steel wool then to polishing by hand then to the drill bit

i used "turco metal polish"

first up we cleaned them with "amway" metal cleaner

then sanded them right back with roughish sand paper

then with smother stuff

then steel wool

then polish on the steel wool

then polish on a rag

then polish on the "drill bit"

still allot to go

the results are rewarding tho

yea the more work you put in with the sandpaper the better your results will be, i would also recomend using "autosol" polish is usually more expensive but it works really well, patience is the key and alot of elbow greece.....god damn i wish you could get it in a can (personal joke between casey and i)
