I have viewed a few engine conversions that have been done and are in the making but i have seen one that hasnt been mentioned here yet that my mate has done on his ke70,it is a very cheap and fairly straightforward conversion.My mate put 2.6 4g54 sigma engine and 5 speed box (which he scored for free) into his ke70.He fabricated has own engine mounts,moved the gearbox crossmember slightly rearwards,swapped the sigma slip yoke to the corolla tailshaft(sigma and corolla share the same uni joint!!)made a gearbox mount out of an old strut bar bush,exractors were custom made(possibly the dearest part of the job ,standard corolla clutch cable(with a 4kc engine)hooked straight …

This is my pride and joy at the moment...its also my first car... i have plans for it...however if they happen is till to be seen the car is basically stock with a 2.5" exhaust system and mag wheels which where both fitted by the previous owner i have fitted a stereo to the car, but that still needs some working with to get it to sound right. my plans for the car include shave off boot lock and possibly the door handles colour code the bumper lower it new wheels re do the interior i would also like to fit a 4AGZE to the car, but i think insurance wouldn't like that at the moment a complete respray is also on the table once i get some of the rust…

Hi everyone, Just got myself a new daily as I am putting my ke30 into semi retirement, to be brought out on sundays and for a nice slow cruise every now and again. still dearly loved. Its a Ae82 1986 twin cam seca not the best pics, i'll get some more later on. Its in pretty good condition i reackon. A little bit of rust around the fuel cap and a bit on the wheel arch, nothing really bad. The interior is immaculate and it feels nice to sit in. Goes pretty good also, zippy and sits on 100kph nicely. I'm gonna do a full service this weekend and get her checked out a bit. Should be a good daily hopefully.

SO here it is. 1982 KE70 4k with a 4ke EFI setup, SC12 supercharger running at 8-10 PSI. Electronic ignition, Microtech D5 ECU. custom piping belts, pullys whatever.. not sure. 5 speed. fully sick pod filter. Fuel setup is standard tank, lift pump into swirl pot, into a a bigger pumper then to motor lol. Car has 2 x jellybean mags, 2x hotwires. all new tyres, lowered on cutties lol. I picked this up for $100, it was a fair mess when I got it, was shoved in the corner of the guys shed and had a commodore muffler on it. After my first day of owning it I have given it a good clean, pumped the tires, polished it all up, taken off the commy muffler and put all the missing bolts back in. Its power is pretty good for a car thats under the ton, 910kgs and runs 85kw @ FWs. It has a high and a low boost switch (standard switch), but not sure what boost it runs on low or high, but would love to find out. It is running a CT12 turbo, which i have no clue what rate that is (only worked on cousins CT26 in GT4). I would also like to no what the best boost range would be on the turbo for boost controller? any ways i relise its no rolla but never fear i will still be hunting down a rolla its an 86 na hardtop MA70 with 230,000km and only cost $2000, bargan everything works, a/c, windows, mirros, power steering, cruze control and even the LSD seems alrite. its a bit ratty but with a bit of polish and clean up it will come up good i only have one pic taken on my crappy phone but will get later once its out of the shed and nice and shiny engine seems to be running pretty good but whats a fiew things i could do to get her going a bit better? i was thinking of taking off the intake manafold and cleaning it out and getting the injectors cleaned, any other ideas??…

Hey guys i picked up this sweet ke55 coupe. Been out of rego for 2 years though :yes: But not much needed to be back on the road. I sold my rotary (in my display pic), as rotary engines just piss me off ;) Its got a 5k with extractors, 2.5 inch piping with dump pipe. Its got some type of sport carby instead of the standard. Does have the factory 5spd. It does start how ever battery is dead! Has the cleanest body i have ever seen in a while for a old car, apart from tiny amount of rust above my rear right tail light. This is my beast.. an AE82 4AC. Its not really worth lookin at, unless ya go for pussbuckets. I thought id post it up as I'm new to these parts. Besides, it looks shockin now, but it'll get there eventually. The idea is to leave it as a 4AC, and try and squeeze as much out of the N/A as i can while keepin it reliable. I'm mostly interested in concentrating on everything else. As long as it looks respectable, and goes relativley hard, then I'm happy. I painted the front end black to try the colour. Here is ben and my little fun project, its a 55 coupe that we straightened and painted. will be rego'd on monday for ben as he just sold the 20. was a country car that had many accidents, so is still abit rough but we aren't panel beaters or painters. will remain stock other the ride height (needs to sit so much lower).

SOLD! Recently purchased a 1984 MK II Toyota Celica Supra. hey guys this is my 82 flat front ke70 that i bought for $810 from a guy in coloundra, it has a standard 4k block and head with a 5 speed manual box. i have now done rust repairs on the doors and boot where the major rust was, still a i little bit left and should be all good then. it has low kings in the back with matching shocks, but standard in the front for now yet to buy some. my plans for this car is to completely strip it down and repair everything and spray the whole car, and to put a worked 5k with 4k head. these are the rims that i got with the car, complete set. they where a bit crappy where the crome was so i polished them up, then i still wasnt happy…

hey guys thought id post some pics of my AE92 corolla seca. i have done few mods such as guages steering wheel and a basic sound system, still need to get subs and amps though, i just recently bought a SX seca spoiler which i will be stripping the paint off and respraying the same as the body of the car.. will do that when i get the paint and time. just recently i rebuilt the carby and replaced the inlet manifold gasket, goes a fair bit better than it did before i did that. Hey i just thought i'd post up my new project. ke70 4k at present. 5k is sitting in the shed waiting on my ordered new oil pump and bottom end rebuild kit. draw through turbo setup with a tco4 colt turbo. commodore louvelles in the front with new shocks. falcon kings in the rear with new shocks. bog everywhere. locker. Volk racing 3 piece meshies all round - 14x 6.5 then a random range of skidder mags with mostly 155's stretched on. currently in white primer while i finish off some more bodywork then its getting painted probably a slightly lighter shade of gun metal grey. Also has a cobra racing bucket seat. I'll add some pictures when i get the chance. Dave.

picked this AE82 Rolla up for 1200 bucks with 336k's, unfortunately its got the 4ac 5speed in it. when i first drove it, it had no power and was clearly something ignition wise was not right. On saturday i spent the day just going over it to see if it needed anything for a roadworthy and all i could find was a number plate and tail light bulbs, gapped the plugs and cleaned the dizzy and rotor button and took it for a squirt but it was still down on power.
