  1. I suggest you click on the FAQ section in the top bar, my website s-86.com might also have a few usefull articles for you. Other than that look up toyota A engine on wikipedia and do some searching on here.
  2. if that was the case then the value of the engine would significantly go up
  3. your right in the way it bolts, up, the only real difference should be the bore and stroke internally. I think what your doing should work well. When your ready put the car in the for sale section as wrecking.
  4. I agree as above, I used to be a landlord myself and I think it's just tight. The driveway condition is assesed as a criteria of the bond return like everything else so it would be the tennants issue to clean it in the end.
  5. ok that sucks, well as the others have said, go the street- just watch out for oncoming traffic, get some of those warning triagles if you have to. Or the nature strip because that's council property. What I want to know is why a landlord would be so stingy as to force someone to not service their car on the property. If you lived closer to me I would let you use my place, but Essendon is a long way from here.
  6. I see, I didn't even know that was possible, MicMac whats the exact wording of your lease agreement in that area?
  7. can a landlord even refuse such as thing legally?
  8. good advice this, both points. There is lots of bogus information on here so at times you have to sort through it. I try my best to keep things as accurate and unbiased on my website as I can however I sometimes screw up as well.
  9. read here: http://s-86.com/s-20vrwd.html otherwise do a search on here and ae86dc, lots of info available. Silvertops have almost the same power for usually a whole lot less cash.
  10. I like this a lot, I personally think it's good to have the wheels, and the rest of it stock so it only looks like your want to go fast. Otherwise you would be completely ignored. Adds to the shock value when you actually floor it.
  11. ok welcome, first things first I suggest a location and then also this belongs in the local section of the forum
  12. actually there is an overall difference- infront of the ring gear. This is why there isn't enough physical room for the ZE flywheel in the T50 bellhousing.
  13. 6 vs 8 bolts and won't fit in bellhousing: http://s-86.com/s-flywheels.html
  14. 2 degree angle change- I measured it, so it's very gentle.
  15. tilts the gearbox up to make a little extra room at the back of the engine. http://s-86.com/s-parts-t50-spacer.html
  16. Ben: do a search for ke70 4age conversion and they will talk about the basic parts like pedal box and the like, as for the 20v bits here is what I advise: trumpets and filters or custom rear bypass plate side water outlet block off plate New top water outlet External thermostat T50 gearbox spacer plate- if you run a heater 20V dizzy cover rwd clutch line coilpack adapter plate 1NZ coils Spigot bearing Visit my website for information about the conversion. s-86.com
  17. wow awesome airbox
  18. you could always run no rails, like fixed position, doesn't get any lower than that. An extended boss kit might also make it more comfortable
  19. I don't think that's a relevant point because he wants it under 2.3L for legal reasons but modding the engine bay makes it illegal again and defeats the purpose. Unless it is fully engineered which I doubt, but hey prove me wrong. As for torque I think RB30s are gutless, the last 5sfe engine isn't that far in torque and that's before some light mods.
  20. while that is true that car is not meant to be anything other than a coolness factor, it's not trying to be functional. I prefer to go forward when I mod a car.
  21. I think I am too used to thinking logically instead of using my emotions to make choices hence I don't get this. It's not going to make lots of power, it's hard to install, weighs quite a bit, etc... I just don't see the point.
  22. well I guess if he doesn't want to go around a corner it's ok. I have doubts about the power that an rb20 would make though
  23. the question I ask though is why an sr20 atmo over the rb20 if you want a nissan engine
  24. I like this a lot, early rolla and a rota is a good mix. PLease tell me you have upgraded brakes and suspension
