  3. give this a shot Yahoo 4age rwd search all 4age engines are easy to convert
  4. hi your new so no flaming, give the search bar a go as well as clicking on the FAQ at the top. Lastly the link in my signiture has articles that should help you
  5. don't forget the 2Ac! I hear their a powerhouse, hahaha
  6. will you be able to make it handle with that IRS and that weight up the front? So what's the IRS out of?
  7. hey I have one of those for sale if you want it, I will send you a PM
  8. how good a fabricator are you? Might pay to get reg on it first before you get the grinder out
  9. I am not aware of any company making an adapter for that type. Bloody heavy box
  10. hi, welcome Now I don't know much about this sort of thing but here is something you can try: depending on what controls the auto in those things have a look for a manual cable coming off the throttle body/carby going to the trans. Adjust that to have more pre-load on the cable to make it more responsive. If in doubt post a picure of your engine bay
  11. they are faily rare though yes? Would it be cheaper and faster to get a single cam ae82 and mod it instead?
  12. whats up with the ecu?
  13. download the whole blacktop manual here: http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/16050-AE86DC-Technical-Documents
  14. I completely agree with the above, yes it's worth the swap as it's fairly straight-forward with a big gain in torque
  15. sounds really good, keep us updated with any more progress and pics if possible
  16. well said 4mm is horrendus, so when you mean end float can you elaborate a bit more? shaft flex?
  17. I agree with you on the gap in the ratios however the first gear is long as, so unless you run a different diff ratio to make up for it I would think smaller engines would take too long to get off the line. As for the second point I doubt it, I think it's peoples ignorance. Over and over again I hear people buying and fitting W58s and when asked why they say oh its the strongest one... right
  18. the W56 is the truck box. The W55 has close ratios to the T50
  19. W55 box
  20. ever had a wideband A/F gauge on the exhaust? did you run it for long?
  21. wow, now while green isn't personally my thing your quality of workmanship is outstanding. Does that have one of my cooling kits installed?
  22. putting the ae71 rack on the ke10 crossmember would be very difficult to do right and highly unrecommmended. A custom adjustable jig would be needed to be made off an ae71 crossmember to get it right.
  23. well that wouldn't work right
  24. ah I see, sounds a bit time consuming. Although grated modding a ae71 crossmember and coloumn half to fit in is a pretty serious job in itself. There is a good reason I charge $850 for the job on the ta22's
  25. interesting point, however doesn't the suspension out of a ke20 bolt right in?
