ewt ^ sounds like a bargain :) Just drove past a gold/brown flat front ke70 in thornbury area. it was lowered with a t18 front bar and the rear arches were really flared. think it had standard 13s on it, so it looked funny with the rear aches pumped out!

yep, a little narrower or wider wont matter in many cases also (the ra60 diff in my van is 10-15mm wider it turned out). Also in your case and mine, we need to change the rear section of the tailshaft (from an ae86 import or t18) and the t-series goes straight in. Next trick is handbrake cables. the_van_can - all you have to do is grind off the 4link mounts and cut your leaf spring mounts off your s series and weld them on. i have a t series ra60 diff in my van.

U know what i reckon.. he will offroad the ke70 and go " f**k this thing takes a beating!" ( it will probably be more capable offroad than his stupid american SUV lmao) At the end of the day, he will love rollas and probably end up buying one :P just let him go. ;)(p.S its not a ke70 panelvan or wagon is it?!? stop him if it is! hahaha)

saw a red ae86 shell on car trailer traveling down Maroondah hwy on saturday arvo. paint looked fresh. had a whale tail spoiler fitted too.

i think rt132 and xt130 are the same..? but yes, xt130 are the ones most e7 and 86 drivers are after. LCA's and struts.

Update: Long story, but the van hasn't been painted yet :( I'm aiming to have it done by the end of Jan. (2011 :P ) Ive been doing the panel prepping myself :) Today i painted the inside of my blue tailgate. (i welded in the holes for the wiper arm,washer jet and badge holes) Also managed to paint the door jams, top of the doors (interior) and the rear cargo area around the seal and latch. its blue half way through 1st coat finished with 2 coats of clear As the van stands lip new shifter for my mates wagon.... hope all those pics load :) more to come this week..

Evan, just my 2cents. I think the red steelies don't suit the period of your car. they are from 30's - 50's I'm pretty sure..? also the thicker whitewalls reminds me of a much older car. around the 50s era? I would paint your rims black, the centers of the caps black (the caps look good btw) and do a thin white wall. if your on toymods msg "crownman". hes an old bloke in nsw? and i'd be surprised if he didn't have a 4th cap for you ;)

ae86, cool starlet AND a panelvan. nice collection dude! are you going to attempt to repair the panelvan doors and bonnet? I noticed the rear bumper on the van has number plate lights.. does the tailgate have lights for the number plate too?

Never really seen 2door models. looks awesome! what is the thing sticking out under the bumper/bever panel on the front drivers side?

there is a 3rd ke70 sedan down there now. its a white 4spd with a/c. body rusty. its complete. (atm)

you were quick on this one Hendo. i saw it on wed night about 11pm and i called the lady at 10am the next morning and she told me a young bloke from Seymour was coming to pick it up at lunch time! (she was going to call me back if it didnt sell. i got no call haha) I didnt really need it, but for 400-500bucks i was gonna take it :P Really happy to see a rollaclub member got it :D how is the rust? is there any on in the bonnet or doors? if you need any parts i've got a fair collection built up now :D

I was gonna to say i didn't know they made 120y vans. I'd be tempted to own one! hehe. Only need two seats in a car. (me + lady friend) Also having the van means i never have to drive my pissed mates into the city! WIN! Painter is saying before xmas but I'm not holding my breathe. :( fingers crossed though!

I have made some progress on the rims. refacing the lips and paint stripper on the centers this arvo. BTW your wagon is looking sick! so jealous your paint is done already. what are the specs on your rear wheels/tyres? they look chunky :D

Madhouse lip finally turned up. and this morning i got this ;) N.O.S and no longer available from Toyota Japan or Australia.

I know, me too! someone took the front passenger guard. that was good to see :D The black vinyl interior is very clean! Two screwed ke70 sedans there aswell. a red one which is an XX model.(cushy seats).dash is gone and the rear section is so rusted out.worst 70 i have ever seen. if you grab the panel between the tail lights you could snap it clean off with one hand, I'm not even joking :P the yellow sedan.auto.has been worked over by the forklift/bobcat and the door pillars are all bent hehe.not much good left on that either.

If your ballin on a budget buy kings or stock ford falcon rear springs (EA to EL mdls) and cut to height. Kings can also do custom springs if you don't want to cut them. they don't cost much more but expect to wait 10-12working days for them to complete the order.
