While this sounds good in theory I feel that it is a bit pointless. They will make their money on another day. By not filling up on one day they will make their money back the next. It would have to be that we all decide not to use our cars, therefore not needing to fill up as long as possible.

I dedicate this post to bitching about my work. This weekend I had the overnight shifts at the Goodna McDonald's that I manage. It is quite a bad area and we are the only store that doesn't employ any type of security. Last night I had a couple incidents where I had to call the cops. The first a customer had his hair pulled back and was punched in the face and was knocked out cold. When safe and when the offenders left I went to help, but once the victim and his mate found out I called the cops, the quickly split too. Apparently its was all over a girl. Then later this big, CRAZY Samoan dude who was off his face was going off at me cause the store has stuffed up his orders several times. He had blood on his face and all over his his hands so I was unsure what he'd been up to or on. He started to think I was saying shit about him and went ape. He claimed that I think I am Goodna and that I am not Goodna cause he is Goodna. (Goodna is Aboriginal for shit, he can be Goodna, I am NOT Goodna). After he abused and swore at me for a while I decided it was enough and gave his money back and asked him to leave when having my maintenance man call the police. He then flipped, put his fist through my drive thru window, punched the windscreen of the car that he came in and ran up to the other drive thru booth and full of rage, pounded on the glass with his fists smashing the massive and expensive window. The cops came, the first 3 cars surrounded him, he tried to box them off, eventually it took 5 of them to get him down and they had to use their capsicum spray on him. Apparently he edged the cops on saying that it was coconut milk and that's what he eats for breakfast. So they offered him some. One of the cops also was told that he was Goodna and thinks that it might be one of the local gangs. I look forward to more life threatening behaviour. Last night I was in charge of the well being of 7 crew on that late shift and seeing how easy he could punch through that window, I realised there is no where in the whole store that any of us could hide and if it wasn't for his woman trying to calm him and pull him away, he would have come inside and seriously hurt me or killed me. None of us feel safe anymore. The cops asked me to take pics but then realised that one of them had a camera. I didn't want to go to my car till after he had left in case he saw what car I drive and came back to damaged it. The window he put his fist through. (phone pic, patty wagon was still there.) All the glass out. Glass Ordertaking booth He had cut himself and there was no way I would be performing first aid on him. We cardboarded the window up as it was freaking cold outside. I showed my mum the security surveillance footage when I got home and she was horrified.

Hey, thanks for the advice. The cars been fixed. I should have done this myself but never got around to it. Turned out my spark plugs were f@$ked. The mechanic said that in all his years they are the worst his ever seen and was surprised that it was still running. thanks for everyones advice. Fred.

My KE70 console just sits there. the handbrake holds it into place. I originally tried to use the KE70 console bracket to screw it down to the handbrake like it is in the KE70's, but it didn't want to. Its fine the way it is anyway.

There is some place on the Northside of BNE, I can't remember the name. PhatKE30 knows it. I've spoken to them they can get KE30 guards but haven't seen them about KE20 yet. I'd be interested in knowing prices if you end up calling them. Jon.

The reason I thought it should have some space under the E is cause when I fill up a full tank, the needle never gets to the F, it always stays off by a millimeter. It was the first ever time I've let it get so low. I guess I'd rather have a full tank rather than empty, so I top up more. Car runs better but they still didn't look at the other issues I wanted addressed.

The chrome handle is also from KE2x's I plan on putting my spare onto my wagon with another KE70 console.

Lolla's dead. This morning taking her to the servo and had to stop at the traffic lights about 50m away from the servo when she just died. I was running the fuel low just in case the fuel is the problem. The needle was just under the E and I was under the assumption that from the E to the bottom there was 10Ltrs. Does anyone know for sure?? I tried and I tried and I tried but she wouldn't kick over.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the "Liftback" be the TE72 T-18?? cause we got heaps. Was it an actual hardtop? I've never seen pics with the back section of window down. It has a "B" pillar. I'd called it a Coupe not a hardtop. Did we actually get this model released here?? Or have the few that we have been shipped here after. Here is the TE72, even it has a "B" pillar. Sorry for the offtopic, I just wanna know if the hardtops were only around for the KE35/55s's.

Okay, this is the KE70 (Early) console that I addapeted into my KE30. I later modified it with a KE30 Cig lighter so I could charge my phone from somewhere lower than the top of the dash. And lastly I got this out of a RA23 and I'll be putting it into my KE25 Oh and this one, in my KE50. It came standard.

You spotted me or 4ages? Sitting there shining?? You must have been far away cause she is dirty. She's a dirty, dirty girl. As soon as I washed it last that was seen as an invitation for all the birds in BNE to take a dump on her.

I have done all that but changed the spark plugs. That'll get done durring the service on Wednesday anyway. I just hope what ever is wrong wont burn a hole in my pocket.
