I know this isn't much of an update but these came today... Here are the brand new front parker/indicator lights and number plate lights for the rear bumper. I also took photos of all the problematic rust areas and showed my panel beater. Sadly the quote was $2,500.00 My sister then told me of her neighbour who is a retired panel beater, so after talking to him he agreed to to help me repair her. So we are now looking for the bottom sections to the front guards. As for the rest he will be helping me plate them up.

Yeah, plus -Miller_'s KE35 was labled as Ford Tango orange was years before the XR5 Focus came out. I only know cause I plan on painting my KE55s the XR5 orange and I've sussed out the same already.

Remember not to fully remove the nut as when the wheel comes off you'll punch yourself in the face.

The Ford Focus Orange is called Electric Orange. Ford Tango Orange is is a colour they had in the 70's and is the colour -miller- used om his KE35.

Where to start, from the top... KE25 Pros. Sporty styling, classic guages and interior Cons. Sluggish two speed auto and rust, lots of rust. KE30 Pros. A comfortable ride that is almost complete. Just add paint. Cons. Being a member of the Multi Coloured Car Club and the revs at 100km/h and up. KE36 Pros. Interior starting to take shape and a MASSIVE cargo area. Cons. Bog, bog and more bog. So far away from complete. KE55P (Liftback) Pros. Loving the shape more and more. Such a sporty little car. Cons. Rust in a couple areas (fixable) and finding those rare parts. KE55s Pros. A hot sporty little car with a great body. Cons. Progress is developing slowly.

Problem tho with that is that many members here wont wont to go anywhere near Surfers. If Kingston Park isn't where everyone wants to go there are other places. There is Archerfeild Speed Karts, Le Mans Kart Racing (Coomera) and Big Kart Track (Landsborough/Sunny Coast).

Just had a thought today. What does everyone think about Go Karting at Kingston Park Raceway or something?? I can sus out prices. I assume that if we get enough people interested we could hire out the whole track just for us. What does everyone think?? J.

Nice car you have there. Dam, I keep forgetting how massive the bumpers are on these things. Are these cars common out your way?? Did your TE7x's come with chrome bars?? They would look sweet.

Very nice are you have. Love the mods you have done, it makes the car look really hot. Its funny how here in Australia Toyota released the first Corolla's as 2 doors only then not until the 3rd generation we got 4 doors. Then with the 5th generation (KE70) we only got 4 doors. Seems we just couldn't have both. Keep us posted with the updates, I'll be watching :rocknroll:

It may be possible to fit one of those to a right hand drive car. There are obviously dash conversion places around the convert left hand drive to right, they should be able to mirror the plastic moulding. Who cares if the speedo is on the opposite site that it should be, it still would look cool with an original tacho.

I don't see why you took the whole headlight off. It would have been easier just to remove the trim ring and the sealed beam would have popped out.

Buggar. After watching all that I still don't see how they managed to crash. if there is someone in front of you and beside you, do you just power up and make the car in front a hood ornament?? Plus I can't see why they can't attempt to fix the cars while the race has stopped.

Maybe try giving it a second go.

I'm pretty sure you can. As far as I know you can bolt in pretty much any A series engine into its place.
