Okay, so I've finally gotten off my arse and had my new headlights installed. Here is the new parkers... Here is the new headlights durring the day... And here is the headlight from my view at night. I've adjusted them to point downwards more so they don't effect other drivers. They are abit bright but apparently a comfortable light and so far haven't been flashed by anyone.

Oh and might I add that I HATE the crumbly shit that people use to carpet their boots. Its that sub box shit. It makes a massive mess. I hope to one day have my sub box recovered.
-
Oh and also, SHE STILL STARTS!!
-
So heres todays effort... Here's the boot before... Without the crappy carpet... The wheel well was full of crap, I cleaned it up completely and actually don't mind the original colour. Might actually contemplate respraying it that colour. Seems the KE50's came out with metallic type paints. This one is kind of a gold colour while the donor car was a metallic type blue. The panel that sits over the tire was in bad condition, so I swapped it for my spare. Same with the plastic compartment covers. They were covered in paint. Here is the boot carpets all in place. And lastly attached to the seats Looking at the car now I believe it will be hard to let go once done.

Almost made it 7 yesterday, but fell asleep 11 mins before the auction ended.

No, no hippies, just colour blind people.

Okay so today I attempted to clean the seats. Before After: I think that I might try and buy some other products. Here is my drivers side door Before This is After I cleaned it up and put the replacement panels on. This is the passenger door Before The replacement panel before cleaning with the wear marks where the winder goes and door handle After cleaning and assembled. Lastly a shot of the cars interior now. So tomorrow while Lolla's new headlight are installed I'll be finishing up the boot and rear side trims.

Make him pay, need to to write you up a "reciept" for the bumper?

In that last pic its not the one your pointing to but the really long loom that unplugs and another from the condenser plugs into its spot. As for the one under the steering column I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with A/C. As for the green loom, it might be A/C related but its been ages since I've installed one of my units.

WoW. Looks like a great turnout.

Yeah, so basicly its an old mirror, with the non genuine lense and mirror. I wasn't too happy with the thai switch section as the whole thing was plastic instead of metal.
-
The engine in this thing is filthy and since I'll be pulling it out soon I gave her a clean. Before... After... ITS BLUE!!
-
Finnaly got the mirror sorted. I pulled the best bits from each one. The seat adjuster is in too. Fits perfect. Only thing now is the pick up the bonnet latch and fix the drivers side mat down.

Okay so the rain stopped for today... YAY!! So I finished removing the dash. Here's the old Vs. the new. Not really liking the old. They even painted all the screws. Here is the new one in the car just before I cleaned it up. Now here it is after. Its very much an improvement Next, removal of the door trims...

Okay, not a big update but still an update. I met up with a member that was on here a little while ago today. He is into Celicas. I went to him because I heard that the TA22 Celicas had the same seat adjusters as the KE2x's. That sounds about right since Toyota was cheap and made one part to fill all. **CAMERON, you can keep the one you stole out of my car, I know where I can get dozens more!!** Lastly PHATKE20s is getting me a bonnet latch, YAY!!! Now I can cut the zip ties off!!

Its been ages since I've worked on this car. This morning I woke up and was in the mood to fix that. Problem was it was pouring down raining. So I did a little bit from the inside. When I got the car I received a overrated condition dash that was out of a donor car. This is the old dash minus the screws that were in the dash-top. This is the ceiling. I peeled off a section but the glue they used has damaged the vinyl. I have a spare at home that I might drop in at a later stage. I think it also would fit a KE30 sedan. I hope to test that theory some day. The previous owners completely pulled this car apart and re assembled it. I'm assuming that they lost almost all of the screws cause nothing matches anything. Lastly, the rain was pouring down so much that it was trickling inside through the door. So I gave up. I may attempt it again tomorrow. This is how it looked like when I gave up. I found the shifter abit odd as it looks like they have covered up a hole. I remember getting a KE70 5 speed with the rest of the parts. I assume that it must have been in this car at some stage.

They still use the holden trimatic don't they?? If so I'll look into them.

smeetsy1 you don't have to be so rude. I'm pretty sure he plans on fixing the body up so you don't have to remind him. All thats wrong with the body from what I can see is the front quarter guard that can be easily fixed. Tim the car look touch and I look farward to seeing what it turns out like!!

Hey, that car looks sweet!! So whats the diff with the C pillar?? Looks the same to me.
