If it starts at 10am that gives plenty of time to get back from Byron right?? Assuming it'd take around 3-4 hours to travel back and I leave at 6/7. I've never been so i have to ask, does it cost?? Or is it free entry?

Hey mate, nah, I didn't get them re-trimmed. The previous owner had a spare car that he stripped and that's where i got these parts from. I've been quoted over a grand to have the whole interior redone. And apparently he was gonna give me a discount if i had the whole car done instead of one seat at a time. Sorry about that mate, Jon.

The engine will be heavy so may cost abit. Unless you try to get it transported by a truck company that travels between the cities that you'd be enquiring about. They may be able to do you a deal. Ring around.

Nope, they will fall through the hole. You'd need to weld up the hole and cut out a new one to make the sedan ones fit. Don't bother in my opinion. Go the square headlight ones instead.

If you flip through all the different types of rubber kits you would notice that there is a kit for the 30, the 55 sedan, the 35 and the 55s "Coupe". The sample pic shows that both kits contain exactly the same that's why i was wondering what the difference was. Cause I'd be saving a crap load of money by getting the 55 kit. Jon.

Hi all, just a quick question... I was just on rare spares and was looking at Body Rubber Kits for KE35's/KE55s's. I wanted to know is there a differance between the kit for the KE35 and the Kit for the KE55s?? Would they contain the same parts?? I only ask this because the KE55s kit is $300.00 cheaper than the KE35 one. thanks in advance, Jon.

Oh, okay. Well i'd say paint it then. Same goes tho, make sure you use the correct paint. The plasic/vinyl paint. Question. Is the tacho one the same size as the standard one?? Cause from the pics i've seen, including that one on ebay, the tacho one is larger and the dash is metal. How do you plan on making it fit??

Is this the metal part, or the vinyl part?? Cause if he's painting the padded vinyl dash make sure he uses vinyl paint. The dash already comes in black doesn't it??

Okay, so tomorrow we are having a Kerbside Collection day and i took the chance to remove all the seats and and place them in in "Yoda" cause i don't have anywhere else to store them. Sadly i don't know what year KE50 these seats came out of. Pic time. The old seats Old Vs. New The old seats have a strip of vinyl above the cloth while the new ones have a padded head rest. I forgot to take a picture of this. Its a map reading lamp light. I think its cool. And the car as she sits now. Covered.

This thread reminds me of... Old Thread In that thread i mentioned a product called... Dyno-Tab's As soon as i started running this as well as my 98 octane i felt a great improvement in the way the car runs. Give it a go, the tabs cost only a couple bucks for a pack of two. All you do is drop one in when you fuel up on an empty tank.

I know its abit old but something happend today that reminded me of this thread. This creapy old guy stopped me as i was walking up to my work, he was drunk and said, "Nice 120Y". I replied by telling him it was a Corolla, he responded with, "What type of Corolla is it, a 240z??" I said "No, its a KE30" and walked away and didn't come out till he left. I though it was funny and just wanted to share. :D
