ok but those cyclinders were getting fluff all fuel or when you lose pressure do you need more fuel to ignite just guessing..... -

ok been farting with my carbs hust now seing why 3/4 have f@$k all fuel fiddled with this and that had the car just run on 3/4 with a bit a back fire from the intake here and there and a slight smell of fuel from the rocker cover and a wee bit of white smoke puffing from it on start up mean anything -
proberley got a 3tgte in hmmm interesting

wgmg tampon adds realy yeah lighting my car on fire from having a lose hose clamp on the fuel line and have intake back fire aswell :glare: i felll sooooooo f@$king smart right now :|

well this is me about 4 hours ago i think i have taken the cake for number 1 retard ok so i have twin side drafts and I'm also experencing some compresion issues so i need to take the head of. so this afteer noon i was f@$king around doing various compression test and what not i decided before i do anything i would check my carbs jets see if there all the same as one is running leaner the well its f@$king not firing with a combination of f@$k all pressure in the cylinders so i thought i might ditch the inline fuel setup and run a t peice in the middle of them so they would have equal ammounts of fuel did that all god ready to fire her up see if i have achieved anything......... also had spilt a little fuel on the rocker cover and around the carbs just a little ............................. still have the dome filters of ok here we go time to fire the old girl up crank here of no luck first shot try again pump the pedal a little yep that should do her *turns key* RIGADARIGIDARIGIDARIGDIA.... put put putt BANG back fires out the intake then i see flames :blinks: oh yeah just a little to much fuel maybe flames don't go away .........................:blinks: flames getting bigger f@$k f@$k jump out go to the engine bay try blow it out. nah not gonna happen by this time theres flames as high as the bonnet f@$k f@$k f@$kf@$k run to hose turn it on put it .:o and I'm thinking on no o no its f@$ked no turns out its fine no damage at all bonnet a little singed bout it and I'm think how the f@$k did that happen turns out the genious here forgot to tight the hose clamp up on one of the fuel lines oh boy i realy am doing well this week :(

haha yeah we do but he is very old school like to clean a carby rearnge the leads on the plugs to it back fires thru the intake. and the over old timer we have says that puting rice down the intake (bucuse its soft it bounces around the cylinder cleaning carbon and shit and the valves close on them and it cleans them aswell and yarda yarda yarda yarda, and that all got :happy: besides the wet test also with the one carb thats running lean couldnt i just get a wicked array of different jet set and send her of to the dyno -

yeah ill be able to pull the head of id beable to do it i have done/help/watched/contributed i am ceretain i would beable to pull it of but i couldnt re install one don't know what to do there but i have help there if i need it just got to ask anyway the mechanics at work said i should do another compression test but put a little bit of oil in the 3/4 and see if the compression comes up if that happens it the rings kinda sounds right. but they say i should do that before i rip the head of. and sorry about the lazyness had a crap week at work boss on my back screaming his tits of at me for removing 2 little stickers on a hiab witch wernt the right ones (yeah i made a mistake i appolagised) but him saying shit like ill cancell your apprentish you yousles c**t i should right everything down on paper this is f@$king redicules >| oh that stuff realy makes me smile you should see what happens when i actualy f@$k up big time (don't want it to happen at all ). anywho I'm not going to take the head of yet becuse i don't realy have the tools at home and i doubt work will help anyway anything i should look at when i pull the head of besides for valve any tell tale signs of bad stuff if you guys could cheers matt. -

righto i think that could work depending if i can change the throttle to either side of each carb ahhh man fff so anoyed -
no i didnt the guy i brought them off said they were jetted for a 2tg so i thought they would be pretty similar wgmg : no matter how often you check google for t series motors (or any) there wont be new motors for sale every 5 minutes :bash: all I'm doing atm is this :bash: liek so much of this :bash:

ahh one more thing um i don't know if it means anything but when i hold the choke the carb for 3 and 4 it starts reving up and running nicely and on the carb for 1 and 2 if i open the choke well it chokes and wants to die -
nah didnt get new points and condensor i work with mechanics there just telling me to strip it down or get a new heart then again they are diesel mech they don't realy no everything there is to no about carbs they even said that

UPDATE ok so i got the twins on idle like a c**t made a heap more noise and a little more power got a gt40r coil new plugs dizzy cap and rotor ect ended up finding out i had some compression issues don't know what to do realy probaly commit and twin cam the te72 you know somthing isnt right when you can take the lead of the plug and it makes no difference at all to the way it runs and iddles :glare: there is spark 100% there is spark fuel and air lot of fuel at that hmm .............................................................................................. :bash:
