  1. i'd say you turn up at the meet point of the cruise or turn up at the drive-in, but that is just my understanding of things
  2. umm as bianca said it is saturday if you are going to be a little late I'm sure i can persuade people to hang around a little longer  plus it rare that we ever leave on time anyways, i think the last T4S cruise we left almost half an hour late
  3. cleaned  hmmm less than 2 weeks away will have to wait and see what I'm doing
  4. the coil, fuse box, should be part of the engine loom, although i should have said "engine loom with all sensors etc etc" surge tank wont be needed if you use an efi tank out of an fuel injected ae9x are you using you original g/box? if so then you wont need to swap them, maybe just get them recon'ed, or if you not then you can should still be able to use the shafts in another c-series g/box
  5. efi tank and hardlines, and wiring to suit engine loom radiator out of sx/gti as well as it has the side inlet/out on the drivers side swap the rear brakes from drums to discs, and changes the brake master cylinder to one from an sx/gti for piece of mind swap the front A arms to ones from an sx/gti so you can install a front sway bar. thats pretty much all i can think of atm :y:
  6. there's the thread killer right there :y:
  7. what are you getting ST or BT?
  8. posting of irrelevant information isnt needed to keep the thread near the top, its actually unnecessary  i suggest the info you post go into a rides thread :y: Edit: I was only going to let this go a couple more days before pinning, as it would have been a maximum of 6th on the list of threads. So there is no need to get so concerned over the thread being lost :y:
  9. instead of complaining, why don't you do something about it? simple thought process is all thats needed :y: and if you looked at forum closely there a cruise this coming saturday >>>> Easter Long Weekend Cruise
  10. not bad at all :y: i would be changing the radiator for one out of an sx/gti to get rid of the piping over the exhaust, is its the basically the same except the inlet/outlet for the top hose is on the drivers side rather than being in the center
  11. with the amount of rust it, even i wouldnt even attempt to drive it, and i've driven some extremely rusty vehicles in the past :y:
  12. 270mm rotors? compensating for something else thats lacking :y: oh and i predict that the rotors will either warp or crack if not both  everything else is looking good though, wont be long before you will be needing the reco'ed head and be strapping the blower on side of the block
  13. hmmm was posted up in the spotted thread maybe a couple of weeks ago, and i agree its not worth the effort, considering how much rust is it, especially in the sills, i deserves to go to the scrap heap or atleast to be striped first then cubed
  14. hmmm interesting indeed,
  15. considering about half of the drivers i've seen lately havent been indicating, i guess you will just be following the general consensus as of late :bash:
  16. below is some guy in the US who thought he bought a levin front for his coupe, when in fact they are sedan/hatch front guards, levin bonnet, front bar and lights http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=268223 as you can see they don't line up with the doors or the bonnet so it would seem you couldnt do the same for the seca >> levin/trueno front
  17. hiro, all the front bars are interchangeable on the ae9X :bash: it doesnt really surprise me that someone is using a levin front bar.
  18. this idea has been floating around for awhile, although it was a levin/trueno onto a ae9X sedan. but from what i have read else where the doors leading lead is different, and the bonnet is apparently wider
  19. you know you could have asked my nicely in a pm rather than in the thread, considering i havent looked that this thread for well over a week now. that and you guys seem to be keeping this thread pretty close to the top without it having to be pinned.
  20. if i had more details i would've done it by now, but i will be talking to the organiser(s) tonight hopefully
  21. 11 days to go kiddies
  22. yes and start a new thread for it
  23. to my knowledge, none of the moulded carpets have the holes cut, its something you have to do yourself ;), i did my last car and i swore i would pay someone to do it the next time i change my carpet in a car  below is the place i used, it was about $180 and they had a large choice of colours/style of carpet as well Exact Fit Moulded Auto Carpets 7 Virginia Rd Newton SA, 5074 Ph: (08) 8337 6000
