Yeah, fair call. You will have a whole day to do as you like, get some rest and then party all night! lol! I have started organising the meet points for melb so I will advise them that we will be aiming to be in Apollo bay at 10am! can't wait!

Hey Man, your more than welcome if you bring that sweet 20 of yours! The run will be on the Aus Day weekend '07, 27-28h jan. We are staying at the Apollo Bay rec reserve for the night along with a bunch of members from the SA branch of Rollaclub. If you want to stay you will have to pm me of post up here asap! I mean ASAP! By the looks of it I will have to book some more sites to accomodate everyone. The price for the night per person is $20, that will cover some stickers and a goodies bag plus breakfast on the weekend. You will need to bring your own sleeping gear as we are staying on unpowered camping sites (eg, tent, swag etc). The other option is to join the run for the Saturday and go as far as you like but not stay with us, this way you still get to have the run but if you have something planned on Sunday its all apples. If you plan on coming let me know, would be great to see another rolla on the road. Again, if you want to stay let me know as I need a deposit for the sites as soon as you can, THAT GOES TO EVERYONE! Hey Mick, about your arrival time. If you want to leave later and get there around 12-1 thats will be alright as well. I havent set a departure time for the vic bunch as yet but will be soon. I figured if we get there for around linch we will still have about 8 hours of daylight to play with... and we don't have to get up so early! lol! Even earlier for you! Mind you, 10am is a pretty good time as well.... Hmmmm, now you have me thinking again! What are your thoughts? Raceflorolla, As Raven said, the more the merrier. If your mate wants to come let me know. I am about to update the list of people coming (and I will move it to the FIRST post for easy reference), this will also include who has payed there deposits. As long as I get the stickers in time I will post them too all of the SA members that are coming, so it shouldnt be a problem mate. Valandor, great to see another member interested! If the people that have confirmed so far pay $20 each we will not end up having enough money to cover the camping sites, which are going to cost an even $200. This is if only the Camping Rollaclub members pay for the night. What I didnt include was an extra cost if we bring someone along. What I needed to say (and if I read back I might have... can't remeber) was that it is $20 per head. This will cover all our camping costs for the night and our stickers and goodies bag, I have also planned breakfast for us all which is included in the price. I thought I had better clear this up before I get too many deposits as I don't want to bugger this up too much! Also, if anyone has a problem with this please bring it up. This is money matters and I don't want you to think I am ripping you off. Basically, I have already paid for the sites in full to make sure we get them and the leftover cash will go towards making the rest of the weekend a ball! Wow, so this is what happens when I dodnt check for updates for a couple of days! If thats the case I wont be back on til next week! Ok, Nawty4 and born rolla, If you are coming I will need a deposit for the camping sites as soon as possible. My Bank details are in the Vic/Melb thread for this event, let me know when you deposit the money so I can take it out and disaper for ever :) Raven, have you given much thought as to the planned route to Apollo Bay? The best I can do is take a look at where is.com for you. You have a bigger trip than we do so we will have to organise a meet point etc (most likely the Rec Reserve), I might even see if some of us will meet up with you further past Apollo Bay and escort you in? We will see how I go! Another note, a little off topic... SA should host an event closer too you lot and invite the VIC group sometime, we will be more than happy to return the favour!

I would love to go for a run! I'm only 10 mins away too... but alas I have problems with the car therfore no money! lol! Will be heading out for a run early next year though.

I will update the list now. mrmoparman, I decided not to post up on other forums as I think we don't want to many people on our first run... next year if we do it again will probably be different! I have looked into hiring tents and the like today... I didnt even get prices because the 2 places I rang didnt want to help! I will keep on the hunt but I think we will all need some sort of camping gear or something to sleep in anyway... you can even sleep in your car if you want as they will be onsite! At the moment its looking like Teddy will be joining us! Will keep you updated on this. Jarrad

Picked up a few more goodies on the weekend... New rear Bar Set of Lovely 12 month old Headlights and parkers! They look sweet as! And I also got a set of trims for the door tops and rain channel... also picked up a new windscreen plenum cover. I painted the door tops while I was at it. All in all it was a productive weekend! can't wait for the extractors! Thanks to gze82 for all of the parts, top bloke if you ever get to meet him! (free plug) he also has a twincam grill in ex condition and a set of strut braces for an '82 left... well worth grabing if someone needs them! Jarrad
