Cheers guys, Gze, there was only one reason why I had a chance against leo, his clutch was shagged! He killed it on his second run for the night which was a shame as I really wanted to see that thing boogy! Mind you, even before his clutch got realy bad I was still pulling beter times than him! can't wait to see the rear of his car again!

Well, finally hit the strip! I ran a best time of [email protected]... was beaten by a gze powered twinky by .61! Bugger! Heres a vid of the run... My slowest of the night was a [email protected]... I missed second gear! The rest of my runs were in the 16.6 range so I'm pretty happy. Just want to break into the 15s now! Dyno Day coming up soon, will post up power figures when they are done!

Yeah mate, was thinking March. Still warm and not too soon so everyone gets a chance to organise there time around it. What does everyone else think? And Stu... No chick flicks is good with me!

Pretty slow, 2.552secs. But on the other hand its not going to get much better than that! I was running against RTHY who ran a [email protected] with a badly slipping clutch, he rad a 2.515 60ft time. Still, I should be able to dip into the 15's, my next fastest run was a 16.48 but heat soak killed the rest of my runs, they were all around the 16.6 mark. Just uploaded the run to youtube... not the best vid but good enough!

^^^^^ Melb Comment of the day!!!! Will be on a weekend, makes it easy for everyone! Also, Stu, the peninsula does have a couple of drive ins but it also has 300000 police at the moment! I don't like the colour Yellow! Teddy, might have to organise an event in Bris that some of us can make it to! Would be sweet as! Keep the coments coming everyone, theat way I can get onto sorting it properly. Also, what does everyone want to watch? I might see if they will do a fast and the furious night for us or something of the like? What do you think?

don't worry mate, there will be heaps more to come! I'm still stoked that all went well, bloody glad we cooked the bacon and eggs too, settled my stomach after a few too many drinks! Xany, mate, if you make the trip that would be next year that would be freakin unreal! I might have to get another Rolla ready for the run... AE71 anyone? lol At least it will have more room in the boot! Well, we will have to start thinking about next year. I really like the reserve we stayed in but it is a bit of a trip for the SA crew in the car, I will be looking into Portland in the coming weeks to see what is available and whats around for us to do while were there... if were there! Also, thinking that using the complete long weekend would be much better, this way we all get a chance to see what the area has to offer tourist wise and we can all get to know each other much better! Possibly even a day trip to another town/to some windy roads etc. See what we can muster up! Again, glad everyone had a great time and it was fantastic to meet the people from other states and the ones I hadnt met before! Cheers for now, Jarrad

I'm running a straight through setup on my '82 Twincam, its a 2inch pipe with a hotdog and a cannon style muffler without the stupidly huge tip, it has a nice rolled lip 2.5inch one instead... It sounds mean as with a nice bark but it drones like no tomorrow! Ask Teddy, he put up with it on our last cruise! I would recomend a straight through glasspack muffler, I used to have a lukey on my ke55 with a 2inch pipe an it sounded great! No drone at all.

Sorry Stu, no fotage of that! I do have footage of you working on it though, came up great! Should see some of it! Its all pretty sweet!

Well... WOW! Mel and myself are so glad everyone had a great time, even the SA crew after there mamoth "scenic" trip to Apollo Bay. Thankyou to everyone who made the trip, you all rock! Mick, those pics came up really well... but wheres my car? lol! I have a stack of video fotage from the run, about 3 to 4 hours worth! Once I get into gear and turn it into some smaller highlight clips I will post them up on the net for all to have a look! Teddy, man, that post is the bomb! Mel and I were sitting in the airport watching everyone coming out going "is it him? No its him... hangon... Hmm!" lol, were really glad you enjoyed your stay and would do it again in no time... A top bloke you are and one who comes very prepared! Also, WOOHOO, I made RL! Cheers for that! I have a few more events I want to get happening so this will help heaps! I can even give myself the spelling fairy! MRMOPARMAN, after your words about the highway trip home (how awesome the roads are!) we might have to do a day trip up there or something? I really wanted to push the Twinky a bit on the trip! I was having a ball pissing the Crewman ute off as all 5 cars stuck to his ass like glue through the twisties! Next time I think I will shed some wieght out of the car... 3 people and there luggage was crazy! Bump stops all the way... and they have been cut down half way! Well, might have to post up pics now! They were taken on the digital video Cam so there not that great! But he digital camera ones are ok! Got tip?

Well... what a weekend! Teddy made it back to the plane on time so all is good there and it seems we all made it home safe and sound! I want to thank everyone who made the trip, wouldnt have been the same without all of you! A very big thankyou to the SA crew for there mad dash to have Sams car ready for the run and then drive for 12+ hours! And another huge thankyou to Teddy for flying in and having a ball with us! It was bloody great to meet you all and we will definentally be doing something similar next year! Will have pics and vids up asap! Jarrad
