  1. very nice,a lot of hard work there:) cheers darren
  2. Yep you can fit 8's on the sedans, just have to get the diff shortened perfectly Think mine was 1220mm long with my deep dish rims. Buy your rims and tyres first and then pull the back out of the car and sit them in and measure up for diff. If you square up the inner guards it is a lot easier and will sit lower, the rest is just a bit of sledgemhammer work on the inside, i didn't flare the outside, but you might have to for a 28x9, but 26 x8.5 just fitted. cheers darren
  3. On my sedan(don't know if they are different) i fitted deep dish 8 inch performance challengers and 26x8.5 m/t's...just T04Z, bridgeport ....be a easy 9 sec 140mph+ car with the boost wound up:) cheers darren
  4. What specs/brand is your dyno queen cam?
  5. Thats what i was laughing about, they did half of it to work, if they sorted out the fuel system, it would be a wild paddock basher!
  6. Absolutely beautiful work, i love it!, must be a fun drive cheers darren
  7. you have some competition, ha,ha
  8. How much tyre pressure?, let them down to 15psi for traction cheers darren
  9. My guess is around 140rwkw on 18-20psi, would be fun, i loved my T25G hits hard with the .48 housing once the boost is wound up. I ran 16psi with mine, don't know what power it made. cheers darren
  10. Nice work, mine only used make 90rwkw on 10-12psi(can't remember think it was 12 though) with its really low comp(7.4.1) and bigger turbo when it had the smaller cam in it, never went that low with the boost with the biggy Can't wait to see what a 7k with 9.2.1 comp , small cam and 15psi does:)- Yours wil go hard on 15-20psi, give that rota of yours a good run then! cheers darren
  11. these days its not worth it, just buy a microtech/wolf/ems etc My picks the microtech, less hassles cheers darren
  12. that would be horrible, anywhere from 3.9's to 3.5's would be better depending on rim/tyre profile
  13. Spotted ROL-010, minta stocky looking white ke10 with a turbo K motor is the owner on here? cheers darren
  14. I have 3.9's in my ke10 in the standard diff, can't tell you where they came from, they where rapped up in a plastic bag in a old farm shed. , they are finally shagged and noisey as after 8 yrs of use. I had the same prob with my turbo K's, most only rev to 6000rpm, and first gear is to short in the standard box aswell to load boost without a higher diff, especially with 12 inch rims. Was rubbish with 4.2;s and 4.44's. I am going with 3.7's and 14 inch rims next time. cheers darren
  15. On a piston motor, a multi coil vs a dizzy with a CDI , the CDI system will be better. A multi point with CDI would be the best no doubt, and for the extra $2000+ it would want to be we are talkingabout a K motor here, they ain't worth every cent. rotarys are another kettle of fish, they have very poor ignition systems, and need a better ignition source than most motors, especially with the fat afr's you have to run to keep them alive. Any link to the MW stuff, i have a PRO-10 MW CDI on my car, I can't see how they do any thing better than that, except for there drag units, would love to have a look if they do something else, as it would be good for water injection setups:) cheers darren
  16. multi-coils is not really worth it, just easier to get a old MSD 6A CDI or crane hi-6 CDI etc, will have a way higher spark than a multi-coil setup and be cheaper/easier. Those old school msd come up for around $200 s/h.. bargain if they work I have just taken multi-coils of the skyline and gone back to single coil, YOU WANT ONE??? I went back because i needed a CDI and a single coil one is around $400 a multi -coil reliable one(m@W/autronic 500R/motec) is $1400-1500. And the vl's make around 1000hp with a single coil/CDI..good enough for me. I never has any breakdown with 23psi with the plug gapped down with a single coil etc a CDI would have been my next move though, probally worth 10-20hp at the motor anyway. cheers darren PM me if you want a coil, they are usually $50 each, but I'll give you one in the interest of seeing this thing going properly , ha,ha they are bosch HEC 715's
  17. yep, but bear in mind that its probally the tune thats f@$ked them and theres only one way to fix that, plugs are f@$kers of things ,takes nothing to ruin them ,also this might be the prob: matt also runs a CDI ignition, if you are using his tune ,so its going to tolerate a much richer AFR and not soot the plugs up with his massive spark compared to your pissy one:) 12V ignition>CDI>water injection>25psi boost ha,ha cheers darren
  18. Thats engine bay is K porn, love the intercooler/turbo piping, looks so much better than mild steel. Funny as to go back 30 pages and see how it all started, ghetto styles.. , they are addictive little things:), well done! cheers darren
  19. Cool, he is still going then, used him a few times over the years cheers darren
  20. I don't know how to put pretty pictures up, looking up porn is about as technical as i get, ha,ha um i got some ke70 brakes and ke20 hubs, trying to organise 14 inch wheels now...hows that:) cheers darren
  21. looks awesome, how thick are the whitewalls, who did them? cheers darren
  22. hahahahaha
  23. There been plenty of 5 and 7K on this forum that are good value and people will send interstate. Well done Gavclassic, that is finished very nicely, its a class act cheers darren
  24. They are excellent cars, the 6.5's are the best of the lot. Exhaust, boost and ecutek and they really move. top buy for the money, well done cheers darren
  25. I just googled the 7K rod thing for shits and giggles, looks like spool imports in australia might do a group buy on h- beams , they are a good rod to. But it looks like even though the standard rod looks skinny, they would take a decent beating with boost unless you want to be a horsepower hero.
