  1. that will be alot of fun!, big boost rush cheers darren
  2. tuff build, what turbo did you go for? cheers darren
  3. haha, this is rad!..love it, nothing like a big motor in a ke10 with stocker suspension and brakes ....been there..survived that..lol cheers darren
  4. thanks..your very helpful cheers darren
  5. i missed the rear discs, what master cylinder did you use? cheers darren
  6. ok so your using ke10 shock inserts, not ke20, i thought ke10 inserts where really hard to get, i will try pedders on way home, all pedders stuff is monroe generally cheers darren
  7. this car is so cool ...has everything what inserts did you guys use for the coilover conversion? ke20? or ke10? what brand/type, would be good if you guys went into more detail over the conversion as it looks simpler than some of the crazy stuff(but awesome) people are trying on here for ke10's. I want to do it, but i don't want ke70 crossmembers and ae86 struts etc, for what i want its not needed i'd like a direct copy of your setup with some 4kg front springs cheers darren
  8. Instead of playing with manifolds, id suggest a cheap coolingmist water injection kit (or another brand)of american ebay with a 100-150cc jet , they sometimes start them at $240 aus. Half the detonation problem is heatsoak that is so hard to get rid of due to no crossflow. Out of interest, i had more problems with it with the 4K efi mani than the 7K style one i built later(before there where 7K mani's) Pulled 2 degrees out of tune to stop heatsoak related det from memory cheers darren
  9. Does it have a intercooler?, good job on finishing it! cheers darren
  10. awesome... cheers darren
  11. that looks tuff.... cheers darren
  12. Mm okay, i'll be competly honest i'm a bit out of my depth with random brake conversions on this car, I'm more at home with making power from motors. so any ideas are good. I wanted a pedal box as the convertered stock pedals never feel quite right and ke10's are weird little things to drive at the best of times..funny, but weird compared to any other rolla, especially have no track. I was looking at this thread for idea initially and it has the same brake setup i have. http://www.rollaclub...7-ke10-ca18det/ I'm ready to buy right now, so now you have me um and arring...lol, i'm going to run a remote vh booster aswell, I'm sick of no assisted brakes on the car cheers darren
  13. yeh i have 4agte turbo, with hilux diff/supra box , I'm going to just use the R31 rear disc conversion and have Ke70 front brakes with slotted rotors, that will do for drags, so I'm going 7/8 for front 7/8 for back and 5/8 for clutch.. just wanted to see what physical size was the go, but figured 75's would be the best space wise. I wish my ke10 would end up as well rounded as yours, it won't though, l it will be all power and not much else..lol cheers darren
  14. i am not sure if i missed it, but what tilton master cylinders did you use?..74 or 75 series, i now the 75's are shorter I want to order a pedal box for my ke10 this week. props on the build, its amazing! cheers darren
  15. oh, i thought you had something like that now, whats in there ?? the 609 is only 230/235ish at .50?, has a split duration. [email protected] on a 116 or 117lsa would be the go for something biggish
  16. Wide LSA FTW..lol, wish i knew more about cams when i did [email protected] on a 116 or 117lsa would be much better..not 108 like mine had..lol cheers darren
  17. Be nice to know if you used 75 or 74 (74's are shorter )series master cylinders..long shot, think this car is long been sold.. cheers darren
  18. I'd rather one that looks immaculate original from outside, and with a tyre change runs 10's..lol cheers darren
  19. E85, theres more exhaust energy:), and that REALLY sucks Taz about the exhaust housing cheers darren
  20. I have one of those 4age HKS copy cast T25 flange manifolds i'd sell $130, i have a steam pipe one for a trust T67 now
  21. Yeh i had a 2530 on my 5k motor 10yrs ago, cost me $2500 secondhand back then, was worth it as all garrets offerings where shithouse back then, a lot different now however, i still have it to put on my 4agte Really looking forward to seeing your build cheers darren
  22. Actuators are cheap, about $80 or something for a 18psi one, easier than piss farting around for no gain. this thing will fly..I'd half think about putting a .48 T25G exhaust housing on it, thats what i wanted to do to mine just never got around to it you know what this build needs now to take it to the next K motor level..E85:) cheers darren
  23. 2530 ?? or 2535, why you welding up the gate, they control 24psi fine on a 5k with the standard one cheers darren
  24. Whats going to happen to the shaft compared to ball bearing? i have only shattered comp wheels from surge and i have seen some CRAZY shit done on T25G's on Sr's. My mates one we put 2 big springs on it to hold over 15psi up top, made 170rwkw instead of the usual 150rwkw they make on 12psi with typical boost drop as they runout of compressor flow. another mate ran one with the actuator hose pulled and water injection, ran 25psi through the midrange and 16-17psi up top, ran high 12's at 111mph at the drags and 113ish mph at night, thats like 190+rwkw out of a T25G...lol Now thats some shaft speed, haha cheers darren
  25. I just went to a mates house, He had a T25G in his shed collecting dust, you can have it... It has a shattered comp wheel, because we ran big boost and high shaft speed through it on his Sr20, 6 yrs ago but it feels like the core is still good. You can either buy a T28 and put the T25G exhaust housing on it or maybe it just needs a new comp wheel, ATS usually has secondhandys laying around even if you use it to dummy up everything let me know cheers darren
