Stao at hyperear can make up a billet wheeled 64mm comp wheel turbo, he calls it the ss1, in a .48 T25 housing, and you can swap out to a .64 aswell. think its hks 2530 in flow with billet comp wheel a cam in the 240's @.50 for the street, or if you want to set records [email protected] and some extra fuel octane and it would be a beast..lol cheers'darren

Mine had 7.00 i reckon..lol ..horrible I dynoed my stagea with water meth on thurs...17psi of boost , timing went from 20 degrees at full load and slightly pinging on 98..to 30 degrees...lol the whole map copped 10 degrees more timing actually and 40rwkw+..and no heatsoak... if you wanted a turbo..id talk to stao at hypergear, he might make something up..i woudn't bother with gtx stuff, lol a k motor would never swallow that much air to use those wheels and I'm pretty sure all the t28 gtx stuff is not real great anyway even on bigger motors,not enough turbine Sure the tuner can run 23-24psi on 98..lol, pulling out all the timing...and then pull out another 2 degrees on top of that to account for heatsoak of a non crossflow head.. cheers darren

  6. if you have not much mechanical knowledge, you are far better of turboing or 4agze/turbo what your have...otherwise it will be a HUGE moneypit..lol Ca's aren't that great/pistons are weak standard cheers darren

Cool project, that auto and converter are going to suck some power, I had a trimatic, but never fitted it for that reason, have to be pretty rough to break a K 4-5speed, i never broke one in 10 yrs , only diffs why aren't you turboing the 5K?, much stronger pistons and spool a turbo a fair bit quicker! cheers darren

  14. Yep, its the inserts that i really need help with, i only want standarish(or a inch lower) ride height. The Aw11, would probally need the strut cut and I'm not sure how that will affect the low side of things and if theres enough adjustment to get them where i want it. maybe i am best of using some ke20 replacement inserts( which the only brand i can find atm is Monroe Gt gas, id like something better) cheers darren
  15. Awesome...care to share you coilover setup?, , atm I'm looking at Aw11 85-86 Mr2 rear inserts , 48 mm o/d otomoto weld on sleeve kit and camber tops. Be good to hear from someone thats been there done that. Please don't tell me youve fitted a Ke70 crossmember..lol cheers darren

  17. I just read the whole thread from start to finish.. props for saving something that a lot of people would have gave up on and sent to the tip, wasting another ke20. Car turned out awesome, nice work! Hows the weber jet tuning going?, ever tried main/primarys down in the 120s-130-s, with only a 5 difference eg 130primary-135 main. cheers darren
  18. I would have thought, in this day and age, anyone fitting a front sway bar, would have fitted at least ke20 discs first i could be wrong, be suprised if i was though hopefully they are interested cheers darren

So Selby are signature?, if he makes custom bars and already does Front ke10's ones, just a idea, but someone should get him to cold press his old style one thats hit on the calipers, like Tommys ke10's setup, so it clears , and then he can rejig his bars for ke10's so they are all sweet from here on in... cheers darren

I can't seem to find the other thread i was looking at today to add to I have been looking around a have seen a fair few people sporting Ae86 rears shocks in there ke20's and ke10s use the the same shock. All the ones i have looked at have been short stroke shocks, but there cars have been lowered, my car is and always be standard height at the rear, so am i better of getting standard stroke Ae86 rear shocks?, or is there something better of the shelf. I want something half decent, been looking at Tokico blues atm cheers darren
