Spacers are legal if you get the bolt on ones. But those are generally bigger than 1cm.

I've got the same problem on my ke30, I just bought a pair of 5mm spacers, although I should've got 10mm. Otherwise just get out the old angle grinder and shave off a few Mm.

My old 3k used to do that after sitting for awhile. I believe it may have something to do with the oil draining down while sitting. So it knocks for a few seconds until the pressures builds up and oil is circulating again.

It's looking great mate. Love those rims, really set it off. Also the grill looks sweet, only thing I could suggest is spraying the area behind it black so that you don't see it as much through the grill.

Yeah I ended up doing the same thing, 3 holes each side. Not happy about how I can see the screw poking out though.

I'll have a look at the hoses. If said vapour hose has been removed along with the charcoal box, that would most likely contribute to the smell too wouldn't it?

Cheers people, I might try bend the tabs on mine as it's a locking one too. Atleast until my new one arrives. At the moment it's so bad my whole rear panel is covered in fuel :( Been running 1/4 tank constantly trying to minimize it. OH-KE, pictures would be greatly appreciated :) I've always loved the look of the sun visors on the ke's. And I reckon this one will match my rims perfectly.

Has anyone else experienced their KE30 leaking fuel out the cap under cornering and stuff? I'm going with my seal is buggered so I've got a new one coming from ebay. Just wondering what anyone else has done to fix it. Also, does anyone know how the sun visors attach up, like with bolts or clips or whatever. THIS ONE gives me no hints. Cheers

No worries, glad to help. It's a good community here most of the time :D Yeah, as said above, the auto rad has the trans cooler lines so remember to switch them! Also you may have to cut your shifter hole to fit the auto one. And if you're chucking the auto box onto the previously manual engine, don't forget to take the spigot bearing out.

Not totally sure about doing Manual to Auto, but I did it the other way around on my KE30 (which are 90% same car). It's pretty easy to do, read through any Man -> Auto threads and just do them backwards or/and just see all the bits that need changing. You can swap all the auto running gear straight onto the different engine, and will need to swap the auto kick down bracket for the carbie.
