Quick question, I was wondering if I put the battery from my s1 Rx7 into my ke30 (don't know what each battery are but can look) will I blow any fuses or anything break etc. or should i be fine?

Hey guys, I'm replacing my radiator with a new one, but upon taking the old one out I realised that underneath it, it has 2 hoses going off somewhere yet the other one doesn't. Just wondering what they are for, if i need them and if the other radiator isnt actually for ke30's. Here's the old one and the new one: Cheers

Cheers for the replies, Mine is the 2 speed auto (which sounds like it makes life heaps easier for me) so I should be right for the tailshaft that's currently in it then? And if I get the ke70 box, and the x-member for it, I'll have to get it welded up to my auto one so it'll fit? towe001 I don't suppose you have a diagram or picture for how you wired up your reverse lights etc.? So the spigot bearing, bolt, flywheel and clutch I just grab out of a Ke30/55 or because I'll probably grab the ke70 box will they need to be from a '70?

Hey guys, this year at school we have to do a 'Research Project'. So for mine I've decided on researching how to convert my ke30 to manual and the costs etc etc. And after researching it all, I'll be doing it too :D I've been reading around other topics about how to do it and have a general idea but what I'd like to know is: Which parts will i need for this? - ke30 manual x-member - ke70 5 speed gearbox (so that the gearstick fits through the auto hole?) - ke30 manual pedal box - clutch cable from..? - ke30 manual speedo cable? - which tailshaft? Because of the auto diff making the speedo be out, how would I go about fixing that without getting the manual diff? Will the manual x-member bolt right in or will i need to weld it to an auto one like in the ke55's? How do I go about wiring the reverse lights in? and also, if possible, how much would each of these cost? (would be a great help to know) Cheers, Matt.

Hey all, I'm Matt from the adelaide hills. I've got a auto 76' ke30 (my first), white with black stockies, soon to have 13" superlites. Fixing her up since when I bought it, it came with no brakes or rego, radiator is fkd, has fairly bad rust in the front R and L hand panels and boot. and not so bad in some other spots. Aiming to have her on the road soon as my new daily seeing as I just traded my old daily (lancer - gay little beast but i loved it non the less) for a s1 rx7. Here she is:
