  1. Loving the twin pipes and the P plate, is that painted on?
  2. It's pretty much all plug and play mate
  3. Cheers mate, that helps me heaps, I'm missing the goldy bit that connects it I reckon. I'll have a hunt around for it but if not, would welding it on do the same thing?
  4. anyone keen to enlighten me? pleaaaaase
  5. Been looking around on the net and now I'm thinking I'm missing a release bearing on my clutch? If anyone knows what it looks like and where it goes could enlighten me it'd be great.
  6. Definitely do not cut up the 38. That thing is beautiful. I say go ahead with the panno to ute convo. Seems cool. And by turning an already rarer car into a ute, its making it pretty much unique and worth a lot more to yourself :) At the end of the day, you decide what you want to do with your car. No one else can stop you :P
  7. sounds good, i've still got to do my front brakes too after i finish the conversion. took them apart and forgot how they go back together haha. also broke one of the metal pins on one.

    yeh, that'd be chill

  8. How's the conversion going for you? Taking awhile to find all the parts? How crap is the research project hey

  9. got the pedal box done. Ran into a problem, can't find where to connect the clutch cable? Clutch cable is the one below i believe?
  10. ughh. pedal box sucks! Anyone want to come give me a hand? :P
  11. All I can say is thats overrated! Either sell it to me :P or keep it stock and just make it a clean overrated looking ride. Then buy a ke70 and make that drift spec to thrash and crash. (Coz as much as I hate saying it, us P platers do tend to hit things by 'Accident' on occasion)
  12. seeing as its the ke55 gearbox do i still need to add the inch of spacers?
  13. Alright, i'll give that a try when the time comes. Pedal box... easiest way to get it out? do i need to take the dash off?
  14. cheers, do you know how many litres?
  15. Just remembered I have no oil for it all, so, what type oil do I need and which bits need some :)
  16. Sounds like a smart move, will do that. Cheers.
  17. I'm yet to see my 3k get over 50km/h :P Should be better with the 4speed gearbox going in.
  18. Alright, I might be able to get my brother to 'borrow' one from his work if the snips don't work :P And I cut the new hole 2-3inches above the old hole?
  19. Should be attempting this tomorrow, hopefully it stops raining here -.- Ended up buying the full set for $120 from basher_ke20 out of a ke55. Does it matter if water got inside the gearbox? I'm draining it out. Will tin snips be alright to cut a new shifter hole? I havn't looked at it yet so don't know how think the metal is.
  20. mmm loving them rims! goes well together with the chrome
  21. Alright so I'm replacing the pads on the front of my ke30 for the first time and didnt take pictures of what it looks like back together (smart one) so now I can't work out how to put everything back on. Any help would be good Also, one of the metal wires that holds the pad in snapped, will any wire the same length do if I bend it all up right? I tried googling it and searching on it first but all I found was whole brake upgrades, not what i needed :(
  22. That thing is dam sexy. Widened steelies would be sick, how do you do it?
  23. Ahaha, uh oh. well at least it wasn't him starting it. Yeh I might, I'm keen to get it finished (converting it to manual this weekend) and start cruising in it.
  24. check your vaccum pipes and air intake, too much air is coming in by the sounds of it
