Yeah everthing up until s4/5 turbo motors had the engine mounts off the front cover. For ease of putting a s4/5 motor in an older mazda you can put a different front cover on and use the front mounts, but not back the other way. Normally the difference in cross members is, say in a 929/rx4: 929 - cross member bolts in the same as a corolla in line with the LCA's. RX4 - bolts in above the front sway bar mounts. FYI Kangaroosa - Thats actually a 48/51 IDA manifold with a 90o adapter for the side draft. So if you take the carby and 90o bit off you can wack an IDA straight on. :)

Just make a gasket out of a corn flakes box! Cut to size and then lightly sand the shiny (printed) side to roughen it up a bit. :) LSR - I'm assuming he means the cover plate on the back of a salsbury or borg warner diff. As apposed to a banjo coming out the front.

Bolt straight in, no mods. HOWEVER, so corolla clutches are 19T, some are 21T, so just make sure the spline in right. :) You won't find a k40/50 bellhousing gasket, because they don't exist!! The bell housing don't come off them. If you mean a gasket between the engine and bell housing, then they don't exist either. Not needed.

Yeah take the temp sender out of the exiled 4k and put that in the 5k John. I haven't got around to doing it in my old shit box yet with a 3k sender so at operating temp its 3-4mm off the red section of the temp guage!! :P

Stock oil pressure switch? Or are you talking about an after market oil PRESSURE or TEMP guage?

Oh, and this was porn.... I now also have a bit of a soft spot for a Toyota Caldina :) Me.....and the missus now want one for a family car. For any body who doesn't know, they're almost a smaller Stagea! AWD, Intercooled turbo 4 pot, and they were all manual unlike Stageas. They're slightly smaller than a camry wagon. This is the model I would get.... and the newest Caldina GT-Four, as seen on GT4 (mine did a 9.1 quarter!!!)

As some of you may know, I just spent 10 days in NZ on a much needed holiday. On the first night I was in Christchurch, I was directed to a couple of car yards being "Indy Cars" and "Bling Bling Cars" which deal in Jap, and some Euro imports. Neadless to say....I was in ricer heaven!! :D The general variety is unreal - cars we never see, or have never heard of!! And then the price!!!! :) This out the front of Indy cars...... Line up goes something like:..... FD, evo, vr4, evo, tommy makkinen evo, STi, S15, STi, STi, STi, R32 (golf), A spec turbo forester! more pics to come once I have a ciggy! :P
