  1. Injector impedance is the issue, if they are bigger then it will be under the duty cycle of the old ones.
  2. Remove the guides, basically there so you don't put the plug on around the other way. And I do this at work when the injector plugs get upgraded to v6 commodore items, BTW 3VZ injectors take the same plug.
  3. What was happening in your 60ft, wheelspin? You have the MPH there to be doing 13's, should be good once you get it to hook up.
  4. Looked liked it did it very well.
  5. I actually didn't notice that till you said about it, I like vids like this as you see cars that aren't corolla's, silvia's and skylines doing it.
  6. No the Audi 4wd drift at the start, well at least I think it is a B5 S4, give me one any day.
  7. Parts are all ready for a late 300k service and tidy up, just gotta get an oil filter. Exhaust gasket, timing belt kit (belt, crank seal & tensioner), cam seals, rear crank seal, brand new crank gear incase the other needs to be broken off, brand new flex plate bolts, a 2nd hand heater hose and the spring I took off the tensioner when I put the engine in. (sorry bout crap phone photo, camera has diarrhoea)
  8. This guy at the end cracked me up, he ain't gonna put out a fire like that.

You didn't win by much :) I bet he thought he had you when you bagged them like that.
  10. That cracked me up Scott, I see what you are saying, Mick told me it just gives him better pedal feel also, probably need that at 300k's tho :)
  11. Vid not working, I wanna see.
  12. I thought it was the other way around, larger diameter = more fluid displaced with less travel opposed to a small diameter, It is like having 2 identicle engines with the same stroke but one with a bigger bore, the bigger bore will make more torque, I think we used 3/4 cylinders on the skyline for this reason.
  13. Went to the wreckers and got 2 hooks and a heater core hose for nothing so I am all good and no I didn't steal them I know the guy at the counter so he said just take them.
  14. Been said before many times, FKING AMERICANS ;)
  15. and another pic.
  16. That's just farken stupid, hope he falls off because of them and realises how dangerous they are, at least the people behind him know if he has deodorant on. There was a similar pic circulating the net a while back. EDIT: Same bike.
  17. I prefer to use the hooks as they keep the load inwards and square to the head whereas bolts you are lifting by the thread and I don't trust 140 odd kg's with a small chunk of alloy.

  19. Taz you have just displayed how easy it is to make spelling mistakes, It is spelt courtesy which being a TECHNICAL advisor you should have proper grammar from what people are saying in this thread. I don't want this to turn into a mod vs Trev bitch session as all I wanted was people to take a step back and realise that some people do have a legitimate spelling problem.
  20. Well I apologise as I thought the above post was from philbey. Standards? Have you noticed a decline in use from the regular members that used to be on here. I just don't think it is right to flame someone because they can't spell, would it be the same if he could spell? he would still have the same car knowledge wouldn't he.
  21. Hey, Anyone in the Bris area got a set of Toyota lifting hooks I can borrow as I dunno what I have done with mine, If I can't borrow any then I will have to scrounge the wreckers to try to find some.
  22. He was not writing in leet or text speech, It occurred to me that he obviously had a problem.
  23. One more thing, It is obvious that his spelling was not a major problem as he got the help he needed didn't he. 2 tech mods in the one thread giving someone a hard time over spelling does not give good presentation.
