  1. A blocked jet a week after, did you replace the fuel filter.
  2. Drive it till you can afford to do a conversion...
  3. If you paid to have your carby repaired then did they tune it?
  4. I was going to post that PDF but thought you would of had it already.
  5. Did you do this?
  6. Also if you read his thread the engine is quite substantially modified, I dunno why people compare stock engines to modded ones, do all the same things to a bigport 4age and the K motor won't stand a chance and remember back in the BTCC days the bigport 4age's used to make <200hp in N/A form.
  7. I am with sam on this one, even my rwd carbied 4age, it didn't cost me anymore then 3k to do and that was with 1000 bucks worth of brand new toyota jdm parts, 45mm webers, intake manifold, rwd underdrive pulleys and ignition system.
  8. Flip the diff :)
  9. Yeah it is really funny... I normally reply with HKS Super Sequential...
  10. Series 1 fronts are soo much better, Did you post on BC about 15's?
  11. Andrew's 4x4 ute is a work ute and it seems that the only 4x4 problem comes from the compact series like HRV's and x-trails.
  12. Good project, Try to replace the seat brace with passenger seat one's, they generally have less use and are in better condition.
  13. HAHAHAHA, You have no idea of what i have done then have you and there is still no proof of flutter damaging turbo's. Take a look at a JETT Racing 1200 ute pass, The rpm deflects approx 500rpm when shifting: BTW this is another turbo auto I am currently working on: No BOV's or intercooler, straight turbo to manifold running on methanol. And I used to build turbo systems for nissan's and helped build the shop car where I used to work which had over 600hp at the wheels. Trev's Custom Fabrication - Signature Performance
  14. What does the auto changing gears have to do with a bov, A bov only vents when the throttle is closed and a properly setup turbo auto will overdrive the auto so it is basically not changing engine speeds, listen to turbo drag cars that run 2 speed powerglides and you will notice that they sound like there is no gear change. Maybe do some research perhaps...
  15. It really is quite easy, you only compress the spring for a portion of a second and it works good on heavy duty valve springs, you can use it single handed on vg30 heads.
  16. If you are talking about the drags then that is also wrong. Also why would you run a bov on a drag car that is auto?
  17. Do what I was trying to do years ago and buy a diesel Gemini and boost it.
  18. It's a John Deere painted blue with new holland stickers :) Where is this stash?
  19. That's the one or same thing different brand, I have never used anything easier.
  20. Has anyone seen the ssang yong acton ute? It looks like they cut the rear section off of a vito but what do you expect from Merc.
  21. There is a one handed item on the market that my cousin has, It will remove and insert collets with ease, I will get some info on it when I go to work, It really only takes about 30 seconds to remove valve springs from a 12 valve head.
  22. I think that was the guy that had the daihatsu charmant. Lovin the vw.
  23. Don't you like commodore drivers using periscopes
  24. Can We get this moved to it's own topic and is there any way I can measure the spring tension to get the opening pressure of the valve?
  25. No, JP from twincam.
