  1. No such thing as a RWD 4agze, 3k is pushing it for a 4agze and 20v, 16v is doable.
  2. I just took mine apart and what would you know, It is pressure operated, Thanks to twincam.org for telling me the age bigport sandwich plate is temp operated when I was looking into oil feeds for the turbo and it might surprise some people to know that one of the ones that had said that was JP, I am sick of getting told something and then relaying it on to others to find out it is bullshit, No wonder the net is full of crap.
  3. Well people have said that when you turbo a 4age you have to take the thermostat out of them so the turbo has oil feed from start up, What is the point of have the oil cooler on a pressure system? It would be open all the time if it was cold or hot.
  4. You should see what my Mrs did to my bike, There is quite a bit of damage.
  5. I was away for a month and wasn't going to go through pages and pages to see if it was posted...
  6. The 4age oil plate is already a thermostatically controlled unit.
  7. The Mitsubishi car ads are really starting to piss me off, mostly the one where the bitch is running around turning lights and crap off as she can't predict her power bill and then the fish is in the run to cop it, If you are that up tight about money you should not have spent it all on a god damn lancer you dumb ass. Oh and I miss my AE71.
  8. Ha just realised the name of this thread - Memeber thanks thread.
  9. 'HE' made the sticker personally, Tell him to make another for me :laff: To be deceiving you have to have it say 4AC or in your case put a 4K sticker on it.
  10. That's when you make your kids do what you wanna do in your spare time
  11. Sweet, standard 4age with gze covers or a gze? running the gze ecu? oh umm you forgot the pipe clamps
  12. My 2c, When my cousin builds an engine he never uses oil to assemble it, he uses assembly lubricant on the bearings and installs the pistons using CRC as it reduces wear where as certain oils will induce it and he runs every engine from day one on kendall GT-1 oil which has zinc in it, the run in process varies according to how the engine was built and he has not had an engine fail to date.
  13. Sit on rollaclub mostly, play the 360/ps2 or play with my bike.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=QESfEd180rQ HAHAHAHAHA.
  15. I think you are lucky that you put water in it without the sump plug being in.
  16. Evan go buy a cheap bottle of oil and pour it into the engine using it as an engine flush letting it run out of the sump.
  17. Should be mentioning your budget, if your handy with tools or if you are going to pay someone to do it, for a simple install go for the 16v.
  18. 85 so it would be a single cam, Does it splutter or just cut out completely and needs a restart, any way particular or both left & right?
  19. Is the seat belt hanging out the door, Happened to me the other week.
  20. Yes, Just try to get as much out as possible, milky oil isn't the best for running in.
  21. Air leaks and air flow meters don't go well together.
  22. Nah the pressure operates an arm in the rear of it, It does not take boost away from the motor.
  23. Check it for air leaks, had an AW11 doing a similar thing which turned out to be a hole in the boost pipe.

    Spotted Qld

Ok, I think a lady was driving it.
  25. Switched feed like a light but if it does not work try hooking the earth to the W terminal, I installed some MARS performance gauges into a customers car and I only had to hook up to the G.
