  1. Don't worry about the link I posted about the distributor for now, Get a pic of your engine bay as the JDM diagnosis connector might be different to the USDM (JDM has black box).
  2. Only the exhaust side as it wouldnt come clean and i didn't wanna take the head off to blast it.
  3. I did mine in rocket red/holden orange, My engine has been painted for the last 7 months, Was meant to do the box 7 months ago aswell.
  4. Its not a black centre, It polished stainless so it looks chrome.
  5. I have had the engine stand for about a year & a half and the engine has been sitting on it that long, I think its time.
  6. John here are my dress up items that i speak of, It consists of a mirror stanless plug cover and stainless hex key bolts:
  7. I got my engine dress up stuff on it a while back but i forgot to get pics, I really need to get into the engine as its covered in dust although i did remove the plug cover to dust it off.
  8. You got pics of the other shell yet?
  9. Ha you had me worried, As soon as any blowby encased with fuel got in contact with the throttle body and intake manifold you would of either had a sticking throttle or paint residue go thru your engine. EDIT: Oh and your intake looks better than mine as i blasted mine and cleared it.
  10. BAH please don't tell me you painted the inside of the intake manifold.... Other than that it all looks good, Should get a few dress up items like i have on my 4age.
  11. Another option would be universal rubbers, You'd get 18m's for 180.
  12. $1, You must buy the small ones ;)
  13. How much was the rubbers?
  14. Was out at Ipswich spare parts again today and found a gemini panelvan with some rather nice looking wheels on it, All 4 are there & one inner is painted black, They are 13's with a PCD of 4x100 so if anyone is interested you know where they are:
  15. You can borrow that radiator of mine if you need it.
  16. Get a few of the SA guy's to give you a hand to turn it over, I would if i was down there. Thats one sweet truck there, Old bedford? Sure is a head turner compared to my dad's dyna's ;)
  17. The trailer is sloped at the rear to minimise angle instead of having a large incline, You should know what my dads truck looks like, Imagine if it had a flat bed.

    5k.
  19. Your trailer is a beaver tail so it might be different.
  20. In the right hand side of the engine bay you will see a little black box that sez DIAGNOSIS, Open it up and put a bit of wire between the terminals T & E1 then turn the ignition to "ON" and it will then be in diagnosis mode, The engine light will flash out codes, Just count the amount of times the light blinks (6 consecutive flashes = code 6), There will be <1 second betwwen each flash and a 3 second pause between each code.
  21. You can use either in your car but if you can get HPR10 use that before you use the 15, To fill its approx 3.7L
  22. The toyota T50 (a series) will bolt straight onto the engine, If your going for more power a W5* with a W to T bellhousing will also work.
  23. Do a diagnostic test on it, To me it sounds like your pickup in the dizzy (G or Ne) is either stuffed or the wiring to it is broken (which is common, See Thread Here), This also tells your fuel pump to turn on, The fault code for this is number 6.
  24. Thats actually quite mad, It looks like the jap styles (transformers) and its a 2 door ;)
  25. Sweet, Thanks for the info Jason.
