  1. Des one of the 1st things you do when you join the forum is fill out the time and destination settings, I am led to believe that some people arent following simple forum rules.
  2. Hi guys, The last day i have noticed that a few posts by other members have been an hour ahead of the time the board states for me which makes the post hang around for an hour, I have included a pic so no one sez that it is just me: I'm no moderator but could you please make sure your time is correct as it throws the View New Posts section around (for me anyway), Thanks.
  3. Just a little update this time since i don't have anything else to do to it as yet, I took the seats and centre console out and gave the carpet a good clean aswell as the rear seat and put it back in (the fronts are still sitting out of the car). I also mounted the boost controller switch today: For loss of traction please use this: I cut the earth and starter motor/fan power plug assy off the old fan relay board: And stuck it up under the glove box, I can now plug the AE71 starter motor wire into it and now have 6 earth outputs: With everything put back together you'd have to know your E7's to know its not factory:

Des for the price you paid you have got 1 clean daily there, Hurry up with an engine shot.
  5. Thats from road and track near my house, I suppose it also comes down to availabilty aswell.
  6. Yeah i have looked into a few options but i thought i might aswell run the GE setup, I have prices on the RWD stuff: ALTERNATOR ADJUSTER STRAP 4AG RWD EA $ 24.93 ALTERNATOR BRACKET 4AG RWD EA $ 187.00 WATER PUMP & BACK HOUSING 4AG RWD EA $ 154.50 I'm not bothered about spending the extra but now that I'm out of work i gotta find the money to do it.
  7. I have 1 but its on a boat or somewhere on its way from Canada: I'm hoping it gets here soon but i can't really do anything until I get a T50 but i also wanna get GE RWD water plumbing and alternator bracket, If i run into trouble with the manifold i know where to go tho, Thanks Brad.
  8. Sounds awesome, Hurry up with them pics Brad :y:
  9. The harness will actually sit up where the other one sits, If i put it through the drivers side it would be pointless to the setup i wanna run as i would have to extend the wires and i want it to be plug and play so its easier how it is.
  10. I thought id give the GE harness a test fit, Can't wait until i tidy it all up and it's in there for good.
  11. I have had some fun so far today with the GE harness and the E7 harness, Here are a few pics: This is what i have cut off the original harness (all 3): The 2 wires leading out to the left is all i have to sort out and the harness is done: I have taken a little bit more out of the harness since this pic: Remember the old factory wiring on the firewall with the auto plug for the neutral safety switch: Well i took the plug off (left wire on it so if i run the auto its there) now i have a direct start signal aswell as the temp guage and oil light wires, Reverse lights and I will use the blue wire (B+ 'key on') for igniton power to the ECU which used to power reverse switch: I have run it into the cabin (looks pretty) as i am going to marry all the wires upto the GE harness: I forgot to mention that the GE harness will be fed through the larger hole under the one I just used.
  12. Lookin good mate.
  13. They were so expensive due them being a fine threaded hi tensile metric, I used to order bolts nearly everyday at my last job and i nearly fell over when she told me the price so i just turned around and said well i need them. I did alot to the harness today, I didnt realise how much more but I reckon that the harness is now 98% complete (I did say i was this far in an earlier post), I just have to remove the A/C wires from the harness and tidy the rest of it up, Should all be done tomorrow.

Bout time you got it, Those silvia wheels really suit it.
  15. Yeah thats where i got them from, I tried: Mitre 10 (goodna & ipswich) Bunnings Autopro Repco Blackwoods supercheap & Aussie auto Blackwoods was my final destination and I was told that no one will carry a fine thread metric bolt other than a bolt shop so i thought id give nuts & bolts a go.
  16. *cough*post-whore*cough* Ha Geoff :kiwi:
  17. Have you put carby cleaner through it? No use tuning it if it aint clean.
  18. There was a few Atlantic parts on ebay a few weeks ago, I was tempted to buy the cam covers.
  19. I always wanted to see that engine bolted into a car in front rear format, I have only ever seen it in mid engine rwd cars, Looks hot and now i see how the extractors fit, Thanks.
  20. Agree and I'm sure Des (AE70) will do also. Well i just found out that my darling DES is a girl so he is not voting :kiwi: Count me in.

    Xr4's

It could be the FWD 4 door sprinter.
  22. There was a post on Twincam.info about the wrx, I said it before and i will say it again... LOOKS LIKE SHITE The lexus on the other hand is horn, It still looks like a 100 series cruiser so atleast they kept it inline with the toyota/lexus previous models unlike the subaru.
  23. I was confused at this thread so i didnt post yesterday, What i can see is that instead of having th 2A he has a 3A, I think the 3S us a typo. 3 engines listed.
