  1. Looks hot, Did we get these in AUS?
  2. Ha, Peer pressure. Mainly due to the fact that I'm going to need an 8 bolt flex plate in the long run, I will hold onto the auto and might give it a run one day when the car is fully complete, A project never goes to plan tho, You will always change your mind about something. A few pics of where the DSBC & Boost Guage will be located:
  3. I was going to ask you on the day if you were running the gas, Have you tried it with it?
  4. Bit hard to tell, Both wheels look good.
  5. Got the engine harness out: A few pics of the turbo mounted, Yes its mounted in the seca: I'm not really happy with the direction of the compressor housing so i might get a custom waste gate actuator made with a zig zag shaft and mount it on the back of the housing so i can have the compressor outlet facing down.
  6. I have decided to track down a JDM T50, Why JDM, Well the clutch fork is on the drivers side so the turbo dump wont interfere with it.

  8. Today I started labeling the FWD harness so i can start to cut it up, I also took note of where i want the harness's fuse box situated when it goes in the AE71:
  9. Not good champ, Hope you get it sorted, Where did you get the T-Piece from, They might have to pay for the damages.
  10. Are you being serious??? Don't you like the pic, I actually thought it was a good shot, I wanted to get a shot of the cars in a semi circle with the owners standing next to them but we didnt really have the room for 11 cars, I can remove it if you want.
  11. The day was awesome, Not a long drive either, A few pics from me (sorry if there are doubles from previous posts).
  12. I can't remember, The Mazda 1300 wagon was insane, He didnt care how much he was over the place he just held his foot into it.
  13. Yeah that was a clean and stock lookin 20 (the white one), That KE55 (OKE-550) belongs to OKE550 on here: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...ic=9459&hl= Were you there when the 2J powered LJ 2 door had a spin due to an overpressure in the cooling system, It looked unreal and the RX2 (i think) 4 door that had a spin in the braking area (also hit no walls), Its amazing that the only real oil down for a rotary meeting was from a motorbike that wheelstood and came down too hard and smashed the sump plug and dropped oil down the track, I did have a post typed up last night but i accidently clicked back while i was typing it and lost it, here are a few shots: 2J LJ back in the pits after the spin: The 2J: Rotor KE20: Just missed the launch: RX4's After burnout: Got this 1 on the green :D
  14. That's mad, You got the idea from the ol'skool rockers you used to drive didnt you :D

  17. Is this for work? If so you could say you went out in the field on a corolla cruise and got some product knowledge :D C'mon Ted's drag your ass out the house.
  18. Not sure how to grade but it looks great to me so 10/10. I know this aint centred so its not the best shot but i think its cool.

  20. I was actually surprised that the crank was still good considering i still drove it like i stole it for 2 weeks, I was told that the keyway was the weakest thing (HA) if i can find it i will post a pic up, My timing was 20 degrees retarded at the most (well it moved 2 teeth) and it still idled and drove but it had no power, I'm just glad it fully shat when i was moving and not when i was stopped at the lights or something.
  21. All you need to know: http://www.twincam.info/index.php?showtopi...mp;#entry206897

  23. Bring it to my house then.
  24. Hey guys, About 3 weeks ago my daily 4AGE developed a rather loud rattle (almost like a bigend), I 1st looked at the timing belt idler as it sounded like it was coming from the front of the engine but it was fine, I was then told it was a bigend so i did the remove ignition lead test and it was still there, I was then told that it was buckets and shims so i took the cam covers off and had a look and none seemed loose so i just kept driving it until tuesday, When i left work the car was very gutless but i just wanted to get home, 20 mins later driving down the ipswich motorway at goodna the car coffed and farted and lost all power so i pulled over and turned it off, I then started it 5 mins later and it ran but didnt wanna rev so i got my dad to pick it up and took his car, He then delivered it to my house on wednesday via his towtruck, I had a look at the car on thursday and noticed the timing belt was really tight so i pushed on it and heard a click and it went loose so i put the car in gear and rocked it back and forth, What i could see was the crank was moving but the cams had a delay so i decided to swap it with 1 i had at home on saturday, This is what i found: (the gear teeth were damaged in the removal) P.S. It is pictured with a brand new 1 i got from road and track today, Terri said it was the last in the country (As you have to buy genuine) and they are no longer available, Just keep that in mind.
  25. No worries.
