  1. This man, he knows.
  2. Currently have a guard roller...
  3. Stuff that, then I have to pay more for rego but we do have plenty of spare vg's at work. VG30s is carb and dizzy.
  4. Just hurry up and put them on.
  5. Took it to work today to do a few things. Removed the centre caps (wheels look fatter :)). Changed the gearbox fluid (has not been rebuilt). Fixed the 'tune' issue which turned out to be the carby was loose and separating from it's bottom section, it is much better but I think a side draft will fix it. Also put my pioneer head unit in it so I have some music.
  6. Wow, have never seen an old sit on one like that, me and my siblings have the old tin pedal cars.
  7. I did that on eBay, bought the car 6 months later.
  8. And registered :D Drives really nice, just needs a carby tune.
  9. That one is the best pic ever, dunno how I found it but I am tempted to use it on ae86dc whenever someone gives ae82's shit.
  10. As much as I agree, It doesn't matter, it is a requirement to use the brakes that was released with that engine. The mrs car still has the single cam brakes and it pulls up very quick (even at track speeds  ) as I have been to lazy to put the twincam stuff on.
  11. Well this place has really died in the ass, SLW42 and I took the ute for a drive, would have been there for about 10 mins, the rear car park was basically empty and there was no line to the loo.
  12. Are the throttle body wter hoses hooked up? Check the water level.
  13. Dunno, just that shit that has the material webbing.
  14. These are the Cragars I would love:
  15. So I spent a bit of time over the last 3 days preparing the air box and painting it to pur it on and find that it is different (has extra pollution gear), oh well, it is on there now. Today I got a new set of leads, fitted the air box and removed the 'trucking' and NISMO stickers as I am hoping to get a RWC tomorrow, once reg'd I will take it to work to clean up the wiring and make the wheels better.
  16. Most def, all the mounting work is done.
  17. As said the other day, put some corolla springs in it :P
  18. I am contemplating looking at getting some 15x7 and 15x10 cragars for mine from summit, will post what ones tomorrow as I can't find them on the site but I have the part number in the catalogue. The hurricanes will look sweet.
  19. That's as much as I paid for the whole ute :P Will see what happens mate as I am going to see if a radiator shop will do the top tank as the rad looks like it has just been done, not worried about forking out 300 bucks for one though. So the air box looks ok enough to give a coat of paint, think I will go with some wrinkle coat black or hammer tone to hide the imperfections. A mate came around tonight so I showed him the ute, while I was looking around the engine bay I saw a wire that the male terminal had broken off so I put the wire inside the female terminal and the lights worked, 1 more job off my list :D
  20. Yeah and one was an SR5 that I hid all the good sr5 bits in when I was trying to buy the XL from Woomba, was going to do the 4agte 4wd thing.
  21. I am no angel, I like it when you do that stuff to me :P
  22. Got hold of another air box and it is half way into the clean up so I can re paint it, going to see if I can get my radiator fixed or a new top tank put on and I have to fix the drivers guard and the rego early next week, I hope...
  23. 2 AE95's just got crushed at Wacol wreckers, they had radiators in them.
  24. Yeah I spotted you as I was trying to call you :P Went down to Park Ridge wreckers (yesterday now) and they have a KE36 panelvan down there with a 4ac + manual installed sitting down in the toyota section.
